Jacob Riis Park SUMMER REFLECTION 2018

In this video, i give my thoughts and reflections on another summer in the books at Jacob Riis Park. As a beach lifeguard in Rockaway Queens the Riis Park crew has some of the best and most experienced guards in the area, not to mention the tradition that runs deep here. Every year, I try to make a video outlining the summer at the Park, but as time and responsibilities move forward, I'm spending less time on the jacob riis park boardwalk. Being a Riis Park lifeguard is the best job i ever had. Wish I could do it full time. Wish it could pay all my bills. The reality is, lifeguarding doesn't pay well and things are expensive in new york city. Still, I've worked at Riis Park for so long, it's a legitimate part of my life.
