I noticed Rob's board seems to have Carbon Fiber added to the stringer at the bottom of the board. I double checked on the Firewire website and didn't find any... Did he decide that it wasn't necessary? Or would be added later on? Also how is the LFT? Should I expect a lot of pressure dents?
Rob's popup is just incredible. It's like his legs just swing underneath him and he's up. I have a 7' Seaside & Beyond, and I find it very difficult to pop up on compared to my 8'6" Ultimate from Degree 33 because I can't use my toes. Any tips for an intermediate surfer who's trying to make the transition down to a mid-length? I would really appreciate some advice!
@@ajp7244 I can cross-step, trim and nose ride my longboards... how am I not an intermediate? Popping up on a shorter board is a lot different. Excuse me if I don't fit your definition of an intermediate.
It’s tough to listen to Rob talk about boards when every board looks like a masterpiece under his feet. Ps. I’ll take the biggest one you got. Thanks. :)
Anyone tried the TimberTek version ? I am wondering if it is as good as the LFT version, cannot find much information about it, as the smaller TT version is 6'10 and +7 liters compared to the 6'8 in LFT I am worry that it would feel much less like a shortboard, any thoughts ?
I love my 6'8 SAB. Was surfing
The joy of that slow take-off is the dimension you gain from the stuff you sacrifice.
@Evan Rayden Will Do!
Need one
I want to do just that! 2:00 Funny, how he was coming already on the wave when the other guy was still "fighting hard" to catch it. 😅

I wish someone told me when I was intermediate to stop overthinking and just go out on the right board and catch as many waves as possible
You arent intermediate if you cant pop up on a 7 foot board lol

wondering what the literage is when he stretches them out
6’8 x 20 3/4 x 2 5/8 - 40.9L
7’0 x 21 3/8 x 2 11/16 - 45.3L
7’4 x 21 3/4 x 2 3/4 - 49.5L

I almost got one, but decided on another one in LFT. Those TT version are to thick and bulky.
Fun gun
what's the total weight of the package if I want to send a 6.8 feet abroad ?
I can't stand how kelly slaters weird boards he rides are always really short. Look slow and crap. Longer boards always look feel better and cooler.
His stance is so small for a board that size.
