The way you explain this doesn't work on my gtn 750. It would in some other airplanes that I fly. But on the first example you loaded the approach and didn't activate it. Then you scrolled down to the approach in the flight plan, and went direct a fix in the approach. When I did this last night, as I was approaching the fix, a window popped up and said "you have not activated the approach" or something like that. sure enough, when I turned inbound on the approach, no GS, etc. When I quickly went back and just loaded and activated vectors to final, I got LPV, GS etc.
The speed is great!!! Like @zerohero6602 says use the playback speed. So many videos run so damn slow it's agonizing. Like listening to IVRs "Our ... menu... options.... have... changed........ If... you... want... Spanish.......press ..... 9" ARGH!!

The procedure in the video works for me on GTN750 and 750Xi...
