Assuming Netflix uses their usual streaming technology for their version, there is no reason why they couldn't just record the in game version and then use that for their video. They were explicitly made differently for whatever reason. At first I thought that maybe the Netflix version was simply on a lower graphics setting but it has other additions like the sparks from the sword clashing which makes me assume otherwise.

Nah,actually sepaking the lighning and compositing on the netflix version is better,as well as the models and textures,since they dont rely on real time rendering they upgraded everything,also when the characters are seen from a distance on the netflix version you see theyre shadows until the lighning strikes,which actually has better sceneography since its contrasts the poses,while the og version for some reason makes the character models way to light,jesse its supposed to be kinda dark skinned so it doesnt make sense for him to be more iluminated on a darker scenary
this scene was the biggest fucking switch up ive ever seen, so aggressive to so sincerely sweet. The difference between both voices is so clear and is so convincing, franky Aiden's VA Is so good
now that Telltale is back, they should do a remaster/remake of Story Mode with the gameplay (well...if you can actually call making choices and a few other brief interactive moments "gameplay") of the original but the updated graphics and character models of the Netflix version!

The characters were kind of flat depending on who you refer to and some parts of the choices just didn’t really leave much of an effect on what happened all the time. The stories it had were interesting but some either didn’t expand enough to make it intriguing to learn about or it rushed for the sake of the narrative it had. I personally have no qualms against Minecraft Story Mode myself, I just think it’s meh and I can bear watching all of it without being extremely bored. It ain’t impressive or absolutely dogshit, it’s just meh
