- LaserClean working on molds and Platens On-site in a plastics plant. During the production process, water and vapor are present which causes corrosion. This can disrupt the way the mold mounts to the platens and create quality control issues. Laser cleaning the molds and platens helps reduce this problem and if implemented as a regular maintenance function the plant may realize cost savings and an increase in production due to less downtime.

Do not tap operator on the shoulder and tell him tea's ready!
Damn, I didn't think injection molds and machines can get that big, been working pen parts for pilot ink and zebra these past 2 years and our machines are way tiny compared to those!
Great Powerful Machine this really is indeed.
Nice Video!
this is a job id love to do for sure

Is it easy to get customers. Been thinking of getting a Laser Photonics cleantech

Hi Ed, What are these moulds used for?
I am trying to see if we have any manufacturing like this on the West coast of Australia, to my knowledge we don't.
These are used for plastic injection molding. Plumbing parts to be exact. The mount on platens which also get rusty from the process. Fun to work on as you get some really spectacular results and it saves clients a ton of time and labour.
What’s the life cycle of this laser?

In this instance, we were demonstrating quickly for a group who had very little time as they were on a plant tour. All the details were fully covered when we resumed the cleaning activities. You do have a sharp eye for detail and we appreciate that.

How much and where can I get one
They vary in price depending on which brand and power level you choose.
@@laserclean6041 well you didn't answer that question 🙄
@@steakandchips9046 I can't tell exactly because the focus on the head is a little blurry, but it looks like a P-Laser brand. If that's what it is and it's 500 watts like he said, It's around $350K
@@laserclean6041 may I ask what brand this laser is
Laser Photonics Corp Florida USA. They are like 110-250k depending on wattage and custom features, they also make Laser marking devices, quarts glass welding and soon will be making Laser cut semiconductors for quantum computers that will be the most powerful in the world
