This is my first time watching this podcast. I love that we're finally having these conversations as believers. James is so balanced in his perspective while using the Word to confirm it. The WOG to the left of him spoke a Word that will heal those who demonize their bodies. Everyone brought up good points. I think there were enough nuggets dropped for various people to extract what is needed according to their individual walk. We're all at different stages.
@@LadieAshley In no way have I promoted sin. Clearly, you don't know a thing about me. If you're referring to the lie Tony stated I said during our phone call, it wasn't the truth. If you're referring to my confession about falling off my abstinent journey every 7-8 months, Matthew 7:5 - You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye. The fact you omit my heart and stints of abstinence, let's me know the spirit in which you're operating. People like you are the reason Christians fear transparency, due to your judgment. I'm submitted to God and my pastoral leadership, so please pray for consistency in my area of weakness. Paul writes in Romans 7:19-25, "For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do-this I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it. So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God’s law, but in my sinful nature a slave to the law of sin."
@@trackstarz What if ur stage is very umm...confusing? The idea of Sex is often more like a nightmare. Even the idea of fully growing up is terrifying(even tho let's just say I'm a little Peter-Pan ish). Gender, race+other things can be..confusing. I don't necessarily always feel comfortable in my body(or particularly attractive). Frequently, I don't really like going in public. I can't rly be myself in public, altho I'm not entirely sure who that is anymore. Sleep is also very difficult. Dreams can be vivid+bizarre. I just almost feel like a walking leper or curse. Church has been a place mixed with joy and not-so-positive memories. Fear for the future can be crippling. Fear of expectations, fear of the world, trying not to offend. Fear of failure, just a really heavy weight sometimes. Shame+regret, not knowing if what I'm doing is meaningful. But I can't go in the past, unless time-travel ever takes off. What can I do?😒
@Fullestlife1 Hello the mind can play tricky games Remember GOD is not the author of confusion When we encounter conflicting opinions about gospel truths, it is good to remember that “God is not the author of confusion, but of peace” (1 Corinthians 14:33). Fear is not of GOD God did not give us a spirit that makes us afraid but a spirit of power and love and self-control.” - 2 Timothy 1:7. Fear is not from God; then why do we get scared? When we get scared it means that we do not trust God. It is hard to understand because we really want to believe Him Prayers
Fellas, if a woman does NOT have the heart to submit to GOD she will NOT submit to YOU! Ladies, if a man does NOT have the heart to obey GOD he will NOT obey the covenant of marriage!
I believe this is part of the reason of the high-divorce rate...not having had the time to submit to God before...at a younger age...This teaching is so much needed-4 now.
If a man doesn't submit to God, he will not repsect the covenent he made before him. God said himself that david was a man after his own heart and look at hid legacy? Spouse should submit to each other.
We make a lot of excuses for people. Raised in the church or not, God's standard doesn't change. We need to humble ourselves with a true contrite spirit and allow the Lord to sanctify us
Yes he is overly concerned with how other people live and he is sewing confusion in the body. He should be concerned with what God thinks like we all should. Never base your walk on what others are doing. Narrow is the path that leads to salvation. ❤ Jesus is Lord!
@@thatcaligirl408 Anthony confuses me. He talks about getting wealthy and how he's so holy but where is your wife? He's 40+ years old? Something doesn't seem right
@@AndrewTheLifestyle Far enough in his walk? He is not walking with or in Christ at all. We need to stop saying people are in the "beginning" of their walk when they are in habitual sin and promote it.
@@forhisglorylifestyle I agree. But I don’t know the full story to make that judgement. This brother just looks misinformed to me. He doesn’t have wise counsel teaching him the truth.
But your still married. So something is working. But, if you are unhappy bc of character issues that too can be worked on through counseling. However, you must be honest with yourself and figure out whether she has your heart? And not your mind. The mind can be easily manipulated but not the heart. And move from there bc you both deserve peace.
@@omnib.135 Word, definitely desire peace for both of us, don't want to give up and throw in the towel. I think to myself sometimes like the things i didn't take into consideration as far as what i truly wanted in a wife, whether or not I myself was ready to be a husband and father, whether or not if these "things" with this person is something im willing to deal with the rest of my life. Fornication before marriage blinds you from all of that.
@@StromLxrd6 not trying to be in your business.. but have you two reconciled or repaired areas in the marriage that might have been overlooked, while you guys engaged in premarital intimacy? & how? I’m in a relationship with the father of my child and I’ve begun my journey with Christ and I’m feeling conflicted about premarital sex.
I’m a married man and I was celibate for 9 years before getting married. My wife and I did not have sex with each other prior to marriage. Anthony O’Neal just trying to live the way he wants
Exactly! 8 1/2 years here and I don’t plan to until I’m married. It requires discipline and a love for God that goes beyond my wants. Also, congratulations!
This week our pastor said, "don't be distracted by the Word of God filtered through influencers. Know God and what His Word says for yourself." Sex has become such a do or die for people and in relationships, that was never God's plan. It's an idol and it has been since creation.
If people KNEW how many unclean, demonic, and satanic spirits are ATTACHED to fornication, they would have no problem abstaining from this particular Sin…kill your flesh and STOP giving satan legal access to your life, purpose, calling, destiny, etc.
The woman I had sex with before I got married to, I’ve been married to her for 35 years now, but it wasn’t right. Thank God for His grace and forgiveness!
I am in my late 30s now, still a virgin. I have never met a man who professes faith in Christ and doesn’t treat fornication as a prerequisite for partnership. The expectation seems to be to have a history as well as immediate sexual access. That former standard gets worse the older I get. The expectation of having a sexual skill set to offer a partner seems to be the only thing men care about. I pray Christ fill my loneliness. I am tired.
Don't grow weary in your well doing daughter of Zion. Your harvest is going to come if you do not faint. YAH is preparing a special one for you because you didn't compromise yourself. These men that want sex before marriage don't love GOD, which means they cannot love you properly.
Well Doing Christ's Faithful Servant...u don't have to wait until Glory..He's Keeping u for your powerful testimony you're able to share & show to the world...Hold on Sis!
Good job young, lady! Keep it up. Keep vetting these so called Christian men out here. Please find other Christians who are waiting - virgins or celibate, to fellowship with to take the focus off the loneliness. I'm celibate for many years and refuse to get with a man like AO, even if I have to die celibate.
Right, he may not recognize that prioritizing getting his sexual needs met may have clouded his judgement in dating, making him miss the best woman for him. A lot of people get this wrong and block their own blessings
@pinkrose7940 Now we understand why he said women talk too much. If he's not abstinent, the lady he's dating at church is what? And probably why other women warn each other about him.
@@Mmeme2023 I want to give him the benefit of the doubt. I do agree with him that sometimes women may do too much. However, I am still of the opinion that Christian Men should involve God when initiating contact with His daughters. On both ends, people of God should surrender their lives including dating to marry. There is too much reliance on self and flesh yet wanting God to bless something He never was including in.
@@biznezofbre It also seems like most Christians don't see the purpose of following Jesus's example regardless of topic. This conversation is just a symptom of something deeper. How many of us will get to heaven just to be told Jesus never knew us?
I have been abstaining for years took me awhile to get here BUT that’s not a thought process I would want to adopt. Waiting for a woman to make the change to absolutely is risky behavior you’re the leader in a way even in dating for marriage. It’s a tough road so I can empathize with that!
January will be 10 years celibate. Praise be to the most high. I surrendered my life in 4/21/2015… never looked back. Haven’t been on a date since November 2017. No masturbation in the last 2 years. I’m not bragging on me, I’m boosting on God. HE WILL KEEP YOU IF YOU WANT TO BE KEPT… willful sin, will send you to HELL. Play with God if you want. God said my husband is coming. I believe him cause he’s faithful, and a God who can’t lie.
Amen. Won't he do it? I've never been interedted to even try masturbation, and I am 8 years abstinate after divorce, and I wasn't abstinent before marriage (and I accepted Christ at 6 yrs old and have always been an active member in church)😂 However, back then, 100% total submission and commitment to God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit was not my choice back then. Also, I did not have a personal relationship with God, but now I do. I pray and talk to him throughout each day. I read His Word. I listen to messages from His Word daily, I listen to the Daily Bread and Word for the Day, and to a message on the pray app daily. It is a choice and just as college students commit to studying, homework, projects, study hall, tutors, paying college tuition, etc., our choice to be a Christian means doing what is necessary to succeed in every area that Chrsitianity calls us to show up in. I DO things to ensure I have been able to be successful in my abstinence journey these 8 years. I haven't had a man in my home nor gone to a man's home in these 8 years (I haven't been in a relationship during this time). I don't plan to do that until I am well into a committed relationship with a man who also has committed his life and body to God and we both know and understand and agree that spending time at each other's homes does not involve any activities that would incite lust and lead to fornication, i.e. always before dark, only watching sports and other clean shows and movies, helping do around the house on doing projects together, etc. The same way we sacrifice to make millions of dollars, have millions of followers online, be debt free, etc., we HAVE to have an even more zeal for the THINGS OF GOD. And I can attest that this walk the last 8 years of committing to do my life God's way, has been the best 8 years of my life, more peace than I've ever known, heart filled with joy, ability to forgive instantly and never hold a grudge, eve when I know people are deliberately trying to hurt me. I now can show them love even in the midst of that treatment from them. And it most times changes their negative treatment of me. They see a light in me (the Holy Spirit, of course), and it brings calmness and peace to that situation. The negative ends of falling away, and if nothing else, there is a respect that forms between us. We may do and see things differently, but there doesn't have to be animosity from one side. Man, I wish I could really express what being totally sold out and committed and submitted to God does for us. The things you think you might miss that give you pleasure now, see, smoking, drinking, cursings, vulgar music, portn, etc. YOU WON'T MISS IT!!!! Why, because when you fill those things with God's love, His Word, serving others for nothing in return, talking about Jesus to others when God puts that on your heart, giving up gossiping, criticizing others and being caught up in the negatives of others and life in general, man yoy will experience life lime you never imagined and it will be AMAZING. Yes, it may take time for you to get there, but you have to make a 100% commitment to do it, to even have the opportunity to see it co e to pass. Anyway, God's way, living submitted to Him and to 100% please Him is worth it more than any worldly pleasure the devil dangles in front of us. Anyone, I encourage you, no matter what struggles you are dealing with now, God can change you!!!! The Holy Spirit will be there daily as you walk it out, and Jesus died to give us this opportunity. Don't let Jesus' death that He died for You, be in vain.

@@carmiedh Praise God for keeping your daughter. Believe it or not, there are women over 30 that are still virgins. Sadly, it’s rare to hear the same from Christian men.
When you have sex before marriage, you give the enemy a LEGAL right to wreck your marriage. Period. When you leave God's boundaries, don't expect His protection. Most believers don't truly understand how the spirit realm works. If people truly understood, they would RUN from sexual immorality. The Word clearly says the sexual immoral will not inherit the Kingdom of heaven. This means if you die in the sin, you will miss heaven, no matter how much of a Christian you claim you are.
"All other sins are outside of the body but whoever commits sexual sin sins AGAINST HIS OWN BODY." If only we understood the gravity of this statement. "Whoever joins himself to an harlot is one with her." Fornication in the King James version of the Bible is referred to as "a-whoring." Look it up.😮 😮😮
When I first met my husband, he was a virgin at 25 years old. When we were dating, we abstained and did not have sex until marriage at 28 years old. God is good. I love this conversation, and it needs to be had more amongst believers. It's encouraging to see men talking and encouraging other men to abstain from marriage. Thank you🙏🏽
Thank you so much to the gentleman who made the first comment. Why do black churches never vet their speakers/counselor/deacons etc. People should be approved workman unto the Lord before they are given positions of authority. Money, fame, education, looks, etc. do not mean a person is qualified to represent the kingdom. And this habit of bringing up other people's sin as a way of downplaying our own is tired. Never confront your own sin by starting with "I know other people who..." Take accountability, s*x before marriage is wrong, acknowledge that you are stubborn to repent and are choosing the world over the gospel. There are men who are weak in the faith and will walk out of there, clinging to nothing but Anthony's words. That is how we become a mockery in front of the world.
Blessed is the one who walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly..nor standeth in the way of sinners..nor sit in the seat of the scornful--those who mock..but his/her delight is in the law of the Lord & in that law doth he/she meditate day & night..They will be like trees...they'll be able to withstand,temptation-bcuz they have a daily lifestyle
Facts!!!! Because AO response was not the correct response based upon biblical principles. And we have to consider the people who are struggling in their flesh who was in the audience and who will later watch it. His response is not helping them.
Why do People act like God can't deliver? There's NOTHING to hard for God. The problem is, folks don't WANT to be free. They don't WANT to GIVE it to GOD. They WANT to struggle in their flesh, and then use it as an excuse....God it's so hard!!! He knew that! That's why He said, bring it to ME! Then we can do ALL THINGS through Christ who Strengthens me! We weren't meant to fight this flesh by ourselves, but people keep choosing to, because they want it, more than they want Jesus! We have a way to win, if we WANT too! Quit excusing, and start really believing. If my people, who are call by my name would humble themselves and pray, HE WILL deliver! Cmon yall. There's TRUE deliverance in Christ! With GOD ALL things are possible. Any so-called Believer complaining that the world and sin is too hard, is calling God weak! He ain't weak!
Absolutely 💯 agree! We want to keep feeding our flesh versus denying it and allowing God to do what only God can do. God, Himself, in His Word asked the question...."Is there anything too hard for God?" The answer will always be, "no." However, we continue to minimize our Lord.
That’s exactly what my heart is saying! Jesus is our deliverer Luke 4:18! If you’re stuck in bondage to anything in this world it’s because you choose to be! Spiritual warfare is real and we wrestle not against flesh and blood! Fight for your soul! Work out your OWN soul salvation!! I believe God!
Just because you are “being honest” doesn’t give you any brownie points. God is calling us to be HOLY. This Anthony O’Neal just ill advised a lot of people.
My pastor was 35 and a virgin when she was found and married her husband. I'm grateful for that influence and example. I haven't always got it right, but now I LOVE God more than my sin 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙏🏽❤️
A.O. used to be a youth pastor. He knows Gods standards. I think he has decided not to practice abstinence at this point. Plain James is correct in his assessment.
The woman in the green tank top and the man in the black and teal hat seem to keep justifying and defending sin. Kept talking about the struggles of sin instead of the source of the power to overcome sin through Jesus Christ.
Thank you for speaking to men about the importance of celibacy and abstinence. We need our Men to be the Leaders and Priesthood of our family within marriage. BlessUp
This is a good example of how many people can hear one thing and yet hear many different things. Anthony O’Neal was in fact a PASTOR (so he knows the higher calling of leadership in the Word) b4 at least and he said I’m not saying this as a Pastor, etc. just a Believer which is biblically incorrect. It is also difficult and hypocritical to speak on Christian principles but openly say I’m just not going to submit myself in this area but do better in other areas. Then on top of that say essentially that the Women can lead you to wait. It is clear that he is Not “waiting” for his wife and both him and Latteras have joked several times in the past about fornicating. How can a woman treat you as a potential husband/ leader if he continues in perversion unrepentant heart joking and making light of it? He used the last half of his comments to make it seem like somehow virgins are worse off than him - that is not a Christian or a mature response that would even help encourage those who are in submission in those areas/ have a repentant heart. It would be confusing to new Believers especially and could cause them to stumble. Christian Women have to have better discernment and just stop listening to them on relationships.
My exact sentiments!!! You said everything I was thinking when watching this video. I thank God for discernment because it is getting pretty crazy out here.
🚩🚩Apparently, he knows virgins who're going to Hell....And I felt like interjecting just to axe him if he also knows any adulterers and fornicators who will make Heaven in the event that they don't REPENT or change their ways. Duh!!! 🚨🚨
Hubby and I abstained and were virgins when we got married. Sex is such a distraction and the enemy is well aware of this. We were able to truly vet and get to know each other. Going on 10 years of marriage and having ALL the sex. Putting in the work upfront was worth it. Submit it to Christ y’all. He will hold you up.
My experience has been most Christian women say they want to abstain until emotions grow fonder they start singing a different tune. I know other men who can say the same.
And a lot of Christian women are doing the same 🤷🏾♂️. Literally have dated Christian women who would talk about celibacy… 1.5 months later… then ask me, “Are you sure you’re not trying to have sex?” 🤷🏾♂️
"Not having sex before marriage is hard" People do hard things everyday: Anthony O'Neal- Built himself financially from broke to a millionaire thats hard. He runs multiple successful businesses thats hard. He's extremely financially strict ( according to himself) thats hard. He educated himself that's hard. What i observe more than hard is lack of self sacrifice and discipline.
Bottom line is the scripture says to abstain from fornication .Can you do this?( yes) My wife and have been married 40 years no premarital sex both of us raised in the church that would be the old school church. Through out our 40 years the Lord has kept us through up,s and downs are most devastating moment was when we were $420,000 in debt with only $93.00 to our name during that time he kept us. Fast forward to today we are debt free. Also during our 40 years no affair’s . Why ?because we made a commitment I love ❤️ my girl we are both heading towards 70 years old. I never wanted to be an embarrassment to the her or the body of Christ. Mr Anthony is walking a thin line nothing wrong with keeping it real but don’t lose your soul in the process. Great podcast young people keep it up
Wow an entire panel that waited until marriage for marriage I commend you all 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 I’m devoted to waiting until marriage as well it’s AWESOME to run across a group of people wholeheartedly walking this walk thank you for sharing it’s SO NEEDED!!!!
@@tgsweetsABSOLUTELY TRUE. If you cannot be faithful to God by abstaining and by presenting your body as a living sacrifice unto him, how can you possibly be faithful to another human being? Self-control is a fruit of the Spirit.
I believe it’s a sex and marriage issue. Men get confused about the criteria of a spouse, the purpose of marriage and they date from the lust of eye, flesh and the pride of life.
The Best advice. Open dates. Don't allow yourself to be alone and in compromising situations where you can fall into your flesh so easily.... whatever the temptation is.... Don't make yourself vulnerable or open to deception. Whatever your 'thorn is' don't allow it to overtake you. Have accountability outside of yourself 🙏🏾💜
Abstinence will assist with sexual discipline. I was a Christian virgin until age 29, My Christian ex husband and I Waited 5 years and still got divorced… abstinence alone will not guarantee marital or relationship success. Marriage is more than sexual discipline you must have relationship skills and commitment to each other. We divorced based on lack of forgiveness, inability to communicate and resolve conflict, and no compatibility beyond shared faith. Ask God to assist with sexual control but focus on other elements that make for healthy relationships overall. Love & blessings!
I agree with the balance. As believers we need to not have sex before marriage, but we also need to be honest with ourselves and those around us who are there to help regarding the deep parts of our life. So we can learn how to forgive, how to heal, if we need deliverance, how to communicate, how to be a man, how to be a woman that the WORD talks about. So I agree with you that saving yourself for marriage will not save your marriage. It is a variety of things, first being rooted in The Most High that will help you in marriage.
Yes! This is crucial. The church doesn’t talk about this enough. Abstinence is not gonna save your marriage if there is unforgiveness, lack of communication, abuse, etc. We don’t give marriage minded people strategies on how to conduct positive God honoring relationships.
I remember as a teenager an older teen..told me,'it's not worth it....just wait'...Her words still haunt me...even tho I was college age, 19-I still have deep regrets
He is financially successful and got too many options because of his money. Probably didn’t get attention before hand. Bless his heart! Like dude said, stop bringing these people on church panels! Giving people excuses to sin!
Awesome discussion as always. 🎉😊 This same person talked at my church's marriage night in the DMV area. I did not agree with what he shared at my church. Thank you all for such wonderful topics. I always share with my daughter and she enjoys too! God Bless U.❤
Having sex is a choice. You can choose to engage or not engage. If you are choosing to follow Christ and the word, sex is off the table until marriage.
"All those led by The Spirit of God are the sons of God"....NOT those led by the spirit of lust or whatever is driving them to disobey God willfully. 😮😮
If God said not to do “it” before marriage, there’s good reason. He forgives is when we fall or temptation comes and we may give in to it, but the consequences are still real. The spiritual soul ties are still real. If I had it to do over, there would have been no sex before marriage for me. 🙌🏾💃🏾🙏🏾👑💜
If only we were exposed to the imperative b4 marriage. I almost beg youth but we all have a path...that seemeth right in our own eyes. I paid for it dearly with divorce, mistrust, single motherhood, fractured home-altho God redeemed& still does
This is the first time I've seen Black Christians really remain biblical with regards to this topic. Before the black church made it seem like fornicating is the norm and we should expect it. It was a balanced conversation with grace and focused on obedience to Jesus.
The more excuses we make, the harder it will be! It’s a day-by-day choice. When you’re in a marriage covenant you choose to honor your spouse and your covenant daily. You don’t flirt with other people, you don’t put yourself in positions where it’s easy for you to cheat. The same goes for us as covenant people with Jesus - it’s a daily choice to die to self. Is it a perfect walk? Not by any means! But the more you practice telling your flesh no, the easier it will be. This is why fasting is important!
@@Peteyboi323 Amen to that! Christ died so that we would have victory over sin. It no longer has a power over us. Believers are new creations in Christ…the old is gone, the new is here. Some of us have issues with obedience and crucifying our flesh. We are to WORK out our salvation with fear and trembling daily!
I finally met the right man of God and we abstained from sex for fifteen months straight until our wedding night. I never thought it was possible. Both men & women have to be submitted to God. We didn't French kiss either. We stayed in public places to avoid temptations. My teenage sons were our chaperons whenever my husband wanted to visit me inside my apartment. God restored us both to become "virgins" again. True courtship is abstaining from all sexual immortalities. We asked the right questions. We danced together for exercise. We went to each other church and visited friends churches. Our relationship was absolutely amazing without sexual sins!
My wife and I were both virgins when we got married last year(I was 36 going on 37 and my wife turned 38 a month before our wedding).. I wasn't able to remain a virgin due to anything of my own strength. I continually brought my struggle and desire to Christ Jesus daily. My desire since a teenager was to wait until marriage for sex, my struggle was remaining a virgin until marriage. I asked Christ to keep from falling short of this goal. The road was very tough but Jesus gave my wife and I victory in our journeys. It's not easy but through Jesus Christ all things are possible.
This brother is not spiritual mature enough to speak to God’s people he can’t practice the fruit of spirits of self control and long suffering he clearly don’t have the holy spirt!💯🙏🏾
Bingo, Christians are so judgemental and clouded by the need to be right, with the need to have the status of sinless that thry miss the entire point. Most things we call sin are truly a heart issue, and it's not always just, "Doing things your own way". Yet again if you have to reconcile everything you think and believe through a book written over a period of 1500 years and has been horribly mistranslated to the point the original intent is lost, rather than talking to God for yourself, you will always be caught in legalism and judgment.
@cadiliahaire1120 oh please he quickly sped pass the wait and sprinted I to justifying his fornication!!! He definitely ain't practicing abstaining so CARRY ON
Some just choose sin. Some just really don’t want to be delivered. Some just don’t have the faith/ believe to be healed 🎉🎉🎉 GET KNEE DEEP WITH GOD. CHOOSE HIM, SUBMIT TO HIM.
He was definitely keeping it real. The church can't handle "real" though, so we have a comment section that is holier than thou...like they have never sinned.
@@mahoganymuffin2628 its not holier than thou. Its one thing to say “im struggling” and another to say “im not even trying.” We MUST fear God and flee sin. Simple. It is 100% hard but with God its possible. He came on a platform and “implied” it is what it is. Now we may have interpreted wrong but its based on what he said in this short clip. Holding your brother accountable as the word encourages us to, is not holier than thou, friend.
This video is decent. There's another one where he's on a panel with about 8 or 10 other brothers talking about 'When I meet a girl I intend or desire to date, I let her know up front that I want SEX...Good Sex. Failure to comply means she won't be getting any of my money.' The money part was not the issue because I honestly believe every woman should endeavour to have her own multiple sources of income (if all or most factors are constant) regardless of whether or not she has a man who's willing to provide for her. What really took me ABACK was how he kept going on and on adamantly about how premarital sex is his *priority* in dating, like it were some sort of debt the girl owed him. Very disappointing. 😭😭
I was so blessed and encouraged by The commitments and submission of your bodies to Christ. Thank you for the decision to commit/submit your body to Christ. Not looking for excuses. I loved this accountability that you all are having. I appreciate the honesty of all of you. This helps in other areas of our lives too.🙏🏽 Glory to God!!!🙌🏾
My ex husband and I did not even so much as kiss until our wedding day. I was not in the best place spiritually after leaving an abusive church and didn’t seek God‘s will so the marriage didn’t work out for other reasons (I’m biblically released), but God will keep you if you want to be kept. A lot of the trouble and “struggles” that we find ourselves in is not because sanctification is this long drawn out process but because we don’t want to put our bodies on the altar and let God burn up everything that’s not like Him. We don’t have to date like the world. Don’t ruin your appetite with a snack and forfeit the satisfaction that comes with doing things God’s way and waiting for His perfect timing. Stay strong man of God. Stay strong woman of God. God’s got you. 💛💛💛
Wait…he’s a pastor???? He needs to step down because to hold that position you must be above reproach…if you can’t handle that requirement don’t be in leadership especially a pastor!
All I'm going to say is, if you want to live contrary to the word for whatever reason, then say that. Keep THAT a buck. But don't then go on to justify and clarify and pretend that we don't know the Word and Who our covenant is really with. 🤷🏾♀️
Sin is not tough nor impossible. To not sin is a choice. We've been equipped with sufficient grace. Our love for God has to be greater than any decision to sin.
I got saved at age 25 and God sanctified me and gave me the grace to wait 7 years for my husband. My husband and I weren’t virgins but we abstained from having sex before marriage and it deepened our intimacy and trust. Honor God and He will honor you. That’s my testimony, to GOD be the glory!

If someone is really struggling with sexual promiscuity, or fornication marriage will not cure the issue. People need to get Christian counseling to hopefully overcome these issues and become healthy before seeking a relationship. Galatians 2:20 ESV I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Itz so true...the temptation& yielding to sin pattern will be carried into the nuptials. Itz so important to have that period of time of 'denying/crucifying'flesh daily before 'I Do'
Yep. Marriage is not necessarily a cure for lust. Otherwise, adultery would not be an issue even in The Body of Christ. We've got to let The Master CIRCUMCISE OUR HEARTS and make us worthwhile marriage partners, myself inclusive. 🙏🙏
This gave me so much hope for the body, one of the best public convos with different perspective in the body of Christ that I have ever heard was intrigued the WHOLE time💯
While I believe that Anthony O’Neal was being transparent, to really elevate the conversation we should talk about the “marry before you burn” teaching. The church has had folks running to get married so that they won’t sin, while totally I prepared for marriage. God will keep us in all things if we desire to be kept.
The QUEEN in the back left!!!!! Tried to put her in the box of a virgin but she experienced things like molestation. But she said, she got knee deep in the Word! Thank you for representing us well, Queen!!!!

The fact you omit my heart and stints of abstinence, let's me know the spirit in which you're operating. People like you are the reason Christians fear transparency, due to your judgment.

WHAT BIBLE U READ THAT U HAVE TO BE CELIBATE
@@trackstarz What if ur stage is very umm...confusing? The idea of Sex is often more like a nightmare.
@Fullestlife1 Hello the mind can play tricky games
Remember GOD is not the author of confusion
When we encounter conflicting opinions about gospel truths, it is good to remember that “God is not the author of confusion, but of peace” (1 Corinthians 14:33).
Fear is not of GOD
God did not give us a spirit that makes us afraid but a spirit of power and love and self-control.” - 2 Timothy 1:7.
I believe this to be true which is why I struggle in relationships. Working on my issues lol 😂 I’m over relationships though
🙏🏽BINGO🙏🏽
Totally!

However, back then, 100% total submission and commitment to God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit was not my choice back then.
Great podcast young people keep it up
Wow an entire panel that waited until marriage for marriage I commend you all 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
I’m devoted to waiting until marriage as well it’s AWESOME to run across a group of people wholeheartedly walking this walk thank you for sharing it’s SO NEEDED!!!!
One of them didn’t wait
All things are possible with GOD. Ask HIM to help you, yield and submit yourself to HIM
If AO doesn’t have the discipline to abstain as a single man, he won’t have the discipline to be faithful in marriage.
@@Missbreeadams False!!
THIS!!!! 🎯
Well said
🎉🎉may God help us. True comment
🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 this here!
I really love this convo! Thank you for speaking truth and standing for truth!
Thanks for the balanced conversation. Thank for being transparent but also Acknowledging the Power of God!
Girl in the green tank keeps making excuses for wanting to sin. I'm glad the girl in the black shirt spoke truth and wisdom.
The sister in the black is on point🔥🔥🔥 Thank You Jesus!!!
This is good sound advice.
@@user-uj1ye2cb9e thank you for sharing ❤️
This discussion needed to be longer! So many nuggets of truth being spoken!
Fasting helps with subduing the flesh ❤if I knew now back then I would’ve waited til marriage
I remember as a teenager an older teen..told me,'it's not worth it....just wait'...Her words still haunt me...even tho I was college age, 19-I still have deep regrets
@@murieltenney7231 Amen Exactly me too!!
I love this discussion y'all. Holiness is always right and we must walk in obedience and abstinence if single☝🏾. 🙌🏿💪🏾
2 Timothy 3:1-5. We’ve come to a day when it’s celebrated and considered mature to say, “yes, I’m sinning.”
Time to stand firm in alignment with God’s Holy Word!!!
Love what the woman said at the end...God WILL keep you.
Having sex is a choice. You can choose to engage or not engage. If you are choosing to follow Christ and the word, sex is off the table until marriage.
Righteousness is a gift to everyone who accepts Christ. HOLINESS, on the other hand, is a *choice.* 👍👍
Yesssssss❤❤❤❤❤ She’s speaking again. Black shirt.
Yielding to the Holy Spirit=life...vs. willful disobedience= death
@@lavernechambers3902 Amen!
He spoke in a whole circle instead of looking at self.. repent and do t make excuses
This was such a good and important discussion to have.
The word says
For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:
God said what He said🙌🏾🙌🏾💯period!
Nobody argued that God didn't say that. That's why it was a topic.
There has to be victory over sin
That's open Rebellion!!!
The man said he wasn’t abstaining and he fell. He also said he was willing to do it
This holier than thou comment section missed that part.
He definitely ain't practicing abstaining so CARRY ON
A double minded man is unstable in all of his ways.
Some just choose sin. Some just really don’t want to be delivered. Some just don’t have the faith/ believe to be healed 🎉🎉🎉 GET KNEE DEEP WITH GOD. CHOOSE HIM, SUBMIT TO HIM.
We have to remember we are not of this world and we have to trust God to sustain us.
WOOOOOO, yall were COOKING with JET FUEL with this topic!!! AWESOME JOB!!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
SPEAK LADY IN THE BLACK SHIRT❣️❤️🔥💥💯
When keeping it "real" goes wrong.....not sure that was the platform. Credit for him being honest but it also opened up window to see how he views it.
I am sooo glad someone addresssed this!! Thank you track starz!!!

Following the Lord is tough if you WALK IN THE FLESH…
A whole word
Lord I pray that believers read their Word and are not deceived.
Anthony O'Neal is a former youth minster so this is even more concerning...
Wait…he’s a pastor???? He needs to step down because to hold that position you must be above reproach…if you can’t handle that requirement don’t be in leadership especially a pastor!
Use to be one .
All I'm going to say is, if you want to live contrary to the word for whatever reason, then say that. Keep THAT a buck. But don't then go on to justify and clarify and pretend that we don't know the Word and Who our covenant is really with. 🤷🏾♀️
Amen!
Very well articulated comment and insight Miracle!!
Waited 3 years with my soon to be wife. 23 years later were still in love. Glad we waited.
Sin is not tough nor impossible. To not sin is a choice. We've been equipped with sufficient grace. Our love for God has to be greater than any decision to sin.
Two cannot walk together except they be agreed.
This was powerful! I love that these are people that walked it out
I got saved at age 25 and God sanctified me and gave me the grace to wait 7 years for my husband. My husband and I weren’t virgins but we abstained from having sex before marriage and it deepened our intimacy and trust. Honor God and He will honor you. That’s my testimony, to GOD be the glory!
"Those who honour Me, I honour. Those who despise Me shall be lightly esteemed." That I believe is in 2nd Samuel. 👍👍
The guy with the Seattle hat 🧢 on, KEEP HIS MIC 🎤 ON 💯👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Some people who are successful and spirtual seem to bend the principles of God.
Kudos to you. It takes discernment and real intimate knowledge of God's Word to tell the difference between a counterfeit and the real deal. They're ALIKE in soooooo mmmaaaannyyy ways. 😮
Oh my goodness I love you guys! Teach the truth of the commands of God.
If someone is really struggling with sexual promiscuity, or fornication marriage will not cure the issue.
People need to get Christian counseling to hopefully overcome these issues and become healthy before seeking a relationship.
Galatians 2:20 ESV
I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Itz so true...the temptation& yielding to sin pattern will be carried into the nuptials. Itz so important to have that period of time of 'denying/crucifying'flesh daily before 'I Do'
@@LifeMoAbundantly well said 👏🏽 👍🏾 👌

Yep. Marriage is not necessarily a cure for lust. Otherwise, adultery would not be an issue even in The Body of Christ. We've got to let The Master CIRCUMCISE OUR HEARTS and make us worthwhile marriage partners, myself inclusive. 🙏🙏
@@Lady.Ephraim well said 👏🏽 👍🏾 👌
This gave me so much hope for the body, one of the best public convos with different perspective in the body of Christ that I have ever heard was intrigued the WHOLE time💯
While I believe that Anthony O’Neal was being transparent, to really elevate the conversation we should talk about the “marry before you burn” teaching.
