@xXSEBASTIANXx i love lisbokate tipi indosiyar
Boy the Ultralight and Experimental class has come a long way since my days of crash and burn. Ya I'm old !!!
So many designs and they all look to fly so well.
Love it. But, as a pilot, I think these guys have more guts than me. Cheers!
I would not fly higher than 30 feet or faster than 80 km/h in those things. It’s still awesome aviation content
Great stuff again ASV! - Thanks for all you time, effort, editing,.... and costs incurred!!
0:50 I remmeber this guy flying over my house in Greenlake Wisconsin it's about 20 to 30 minutes away from Oshkosh where EAA is held every year and it was very cool to see 😁
That guy with the blue Quicksilver MX Sprint Just loves to slide sideways when he lands. I’ve seen him in a few videos over the years and he always does it for some reason. Lands, then skids the airplane sideways to clear the runway.
It looks pretty impressive to me, a pure know nothing enthusiast!!!
Like dogs that chase cars it may not last long
It looks like an original MX like I had in 1982. The front wheel wasn't steerable so you relied on some of the wheels skidding during a turn. To turn when taxiing you had to turn the rudder hard, give the engine a burst so that the rudder would skid the wheels round. I never taxied on a hard surface, always grass or loose dirt.
Came here just to find out why he did that. Thanks.
One day he will do that and hit something and take the undercarriage out.
we made a plane in highschool with a volkswagon karman ghia engine. flew it from long island to oshkosh, crashed and burned on the way back. oscar spear about '71
MARVIN THE BOON
In the old days, shop classes were AWESOME!
Today, that kind of class project would be replaced by playing with Microsoft Flight Simulator or having gender diversity studies.

Sad, isn’t it?
Excellent a real feast of Ultralight's nicely filmed, thank you.
Преклоняюсь пред Человеком Разумным.👍
Организация действа, судя по видосу на высоте💪
Надеюсь нас не лишат этой возможности...
Looks like controlled chaos to me .......great acft .....lots of fun
Wow. Talk about being the world's busiest airport for ultralights.
Airplanes and ultralights. NOTHING LIKEM!!
Fantástico y grandioso ,Felicidades a todos.
Good camera hand..some are way to jumpy :) THANKS!
Surprised some didn’t run out of gas waiting to take off.
Love the video, but in coming years if you plan on attending... if you can’t get a better vantage point you might want to put a camera on a pole so it sees over all the planes you are standing behind so we see the better STOL instead of closeups of taxiing aircraft....
I love Les Homan’s radial LEXL!
Golly Bill, that was a very interesting video.
It's like the Hartsfield-Jackson of ultralight aircraft
The badass camouflage Air Cam was just at Sun N’ Fun. The view from the front seat has to make the six figures you pay for it, worth it
Looks like something Chuck Norris would fly.
Some of these planes look to be as large as a Piper J3. In fact, I'm not so sure that I didn't see one or two J3's with the Tundra tires mounted. Are Piper J3 aircraft classified as "fixed wing ultra lights"? Do you need to have an FAA certified private pilot's license to fly the fixed wing, single and/or twin engine Ultra Lights?
Rich
Although EAA calls it the "Ultralight runway", it is not actually restricted to 'legal' ultralights. Most of these are light sport aircraft which do require a certificate to fly.
@@AirshowStuffVideos Thank you. Yes, after I asked that question, (for some reason, I never thought about it until now), I started checking around and found that there are some nice 'true ultralights' out there that are at, or under, the max weight restrictions. They can be flown w/o a license. However, if I want to cover some ground and use a light plane to travel on occasion, I need to look at sport aircraft like the Kit Fox and others of that type.
Thanks again,
Rich
5:58 that guy wins for the drift
Nice camera work!
I can not believe most of those aircraft can actually fly.
I don’t know, I think these guys are winging it.
Is th bi plane a Fisher flying products ???
anyone know the name of that plane at the 11:30 mark? REally cool! I so want to go to Oshkosh someday!
Legal Eagle at the 11 :30 mark
Some of these people are crazy or got balls the size of a house. A example of don't fly higher then you are willing to fall.
Very convincing elongated UFO/UAP appears at 5:11 above the landing red plane. There are 2 fainter objects to the right although these may be distant aircraft. The ufo just sits there motionless for a short time then disappears. If that's a cloud it's the only one in the sky and it's extremely unusual.
I saw one plane that looked to have both tricycle gear as well as a tail wheel! Did I see that correctly? How does that system work?
5:30 anyone know what's going on over the PA? Also always love these videos, keep up the great work!
They were talking to the pilot of the yellow high wing (4:09) and having him narrate as he was flying. Thanks for watching!
Que lindo
Donde es??
Sensacional! !👍
No way all of these aircraft are in ultra light class!
Reall?
Somebody please awnser this.
I don't know that any of these are legally ultralights these days. EAA refers to this area of the show grounds as the "ultralight area" and the grass strip as the "ultralight runway", but it is not limited to true ultralights

06:03 Rudder Tight turn on ground. Skills...
What is that bi-plane called that is shown a few times?
Fisher Classic
What's the name of the bipe at 0:15?
I think it's a Fisher Classic.
👀muito legal! !
What is the airplane at 11:30? I like it!
@MajorLeague i thought it was a air bike until i saw ware the pilots legs where lol
What is the airplane I saw at 1:59? I’ve been trying to figure out what that is!
FoamFlyer something light sport for a passenger to be in it. Not under Part 103.
Still I just wanna know what the plane is. But thanks
M-Squared
👍
I like the red trike that lands at about 5:10. Any idea who makes that model?
Aircraft registration numbers (the N code on the tail) are public records. Here you go :) www.airport-data.com/aircraft/N838UM.html
