    Great videos, you are, few of the ones that knows how to explain this matter properly!!!most of the CFIs they don't know how to explain it and they don't know what is methodology in addition !!! Congrats.

    Sir im so confuse. Other videos marking theyre wind velocity below the 100kts. But you are marking above the 100kts. Which is right? Thanks.

      leading_edge Thanks for you question. You don't have to start at 100, it's just a suggestion. The distances between the numbers on this scale are all the same. You can start at 50 if you like. 14 kts is 14 kts whether you start at 100 and count up or at 50. The end result is the same.

    Is there any formula used to figure out the Time from Distance an GS without using E6B ?
    Thank you anyways for sharing those helpful lessons

      Hello Karim,
      Distance divided by Rate = Time
      So, in this case 53 divided by 79.5 equals 0.666667
      Multiply that by 60 (number of minutes in an hour)
      0.666667 x 60 = 40
      This 53 nm trip will take 40 minutes at a groundspeed of 79.5 kts
