Hey there Bodanza DG! I couldn’t find a review from you about the Centurion (7,5,-1,1.5). I’ve been interested in getting one and would like to see how it compares with the others featured in this informative and much appreciated video. Just putting it out there if you have the means. I’m currently using a leopard3 for the slot. Thanks in advance!👍
Been watching for a while and see you're still having a bit of an issue with throwing nose up. What worked for me was deliberately putting the disk between my index and middle finger pads (like between your knuckles). Try it and see. It will feel a bit odd but if it works it works
I got a sublime freetail and swirly goat from Mint discs partially because of you and the fact I was curious. The sublime plastic feels great to me, not slippery at all. But I will say the freetail was more overstable than advertised! Still love it and thanks for all your videos! They’ve helped me a lot.
I recently visited from Buffalo NY and played not this course but the T2 course. Next visit I'll play this one and the wooded one. All 3 courses being in the same park is fantastic.
I've thrown a stalker for 12 years, and regardless of the numbers you can think of it this way: "I want to throw a buzzz here, but I want it to go farther." It's perfect for those lines.
This is facts. I lost my esp stalker that was broke into perfection and bout a z line version and it flys the exact same. I have moved my stalker out my bag to try the new S-line FD to go with my c-line and it hasn't disappointed either
Just my experience and probably because i dont get as much spin on the disc but ichise the fd over my strike only because my strike will turn over quite a bit if it flips ir if i have a head wind. Other than that they fly the exact same for me. The fd is just more dependable and wont flip when i am not expecting. I would be curiouse to know if you think me being able to put more spin on it would keep the strike straiter. Oh and how the heck do i do that?!
You were throwing the stalker well. Its a point and shoot disc that is super consistent. You should consider bagging it. If you get confident with it you will find yourself wanting to throw it on every shot 340 ish and in. works for me
I'm sure you have. But if you haven't... Innova eagle took over my bag once I tried it haha. Only 7 speed I carry but I carry multiple. Max weight barsby flies pretty much like a new beefy champ teebird. Got one at the 170g range that flies a lot like the discs in this video (that's why i brought it up) but maybe a tiny bit more bite at end but the early flight flip of the disc seems to even that out. And one at like 165-167 that's a little flippy. Love that mold. Didn't try it for so long because it was an "old" mold and I wanted to try the new shiny stuff. But it's so good haha
your stalker looks to be in their most stable plastic. I have one of those for shots that are too long for my Buzzz and I want to fade a little left at the end. ive got a PP TiSwirl Stalker that flies straight with a little late turn before it goes to ground. It never fades left. Going to have to try the Grackle...
The problem with these discs fitting any bag is that we already have like 20 discs that can do this. I already bag two Explorers (7 5 0 2) and a Prodigy F3 in the rare 750 pro plastic that nobody uses (7 5 -1 2). So like, this is neat trivia, but I'm good.
Mint discs thrower and fan here for years. The sublime grackle like the FD has different stabilities based on color. The sublime red grackles have dome, some have more eternal (champion/c line) plastic in them. I want to point out: The sublime grackle is a point and shoot fairway. We are so used to “yanking” or “swinging” discs, i am guilty of it. The grackle stays on the line you pull it on. I did the same thing throwing it as you did when i first got it. Once I adjusted to throwing it “straight” it works amazingly. I throw it like a mustang/buzz/hex/etc and it works perfectly, once you beat one in it finishes straight in the lime green or the orange. Also Please throw the Nocturnal (glow) of it.
@@ZacAndoe Gonna use the sun in my car to flatten the disc by "accident" right now its not straight enough/holding anhyzers the way i want it. My Resistor is way more stable in the finish but is used for the green FD C-line-slot with much success
Yo my dude I have to tell you I really like the stalker as well. In fact, I was really bummed because I lost mine in a muck puddle at one of the local courses and I am really tempted to go in there after it. But I'm going to have to tie myself off to something so I don't get stuck in the muck with no way out lol. But I'm willing to do that for this disc because I really like it
I tried a Lone Star Guadalupe recently and for now it has kicked my Grackle out of the bag. It's a little more finicky in wind but much easier to shape in the woods.
FDs are a spicy meatball. 🤌🏼 The green C-line is definitely beefier than the other colors. Much more like a champion TL than an old C-line FD. I currently bag a blue 🇮🇹 c-line FD (7,6,-.25,1) and a new s-line FD (7,6,-1 or -1.5,.5). I highly recommend the s-line for controlled turnovers at the 280-320 range.
sweaty little meatball
My home course! I’m happy to see you out here in central Florida
TSA Votum fills the spot in my bag
Dang, I saw this headline and thought it was the exodus review!
It may be dumb, but at least half the reason I bag a grackle is because I love how it looks, the combo of the plastic with the stamp is just premium

Would love to see your thoughts on the freetail. The Goat was a little too much for my arm at 350 max distance
Try eternal or apex especially to get the advertised flight on the freetail. Sublime is way more stable
Best video ever

What a score snagging a c line fd out of the water
You should do a video on the passion! It’s my dead straight fairway
I’ve been playing for about a year and don’t have the fastest arm speed. Due to that I throw the stalker and I love it!
i was in the same place. One of my first discs that wasnt a mid

@@jaxvaughan8168 the Passion is a good spot for that. It has some more turn than a stalker or a buzz for me, though.
i swear the ESP stalker as well. I disc up from my buzz all the time to ti

Love my c line fd and just got the new s line FD and it's a little more flippy!
FD is the GOATTTTT of fairways. effortless distancee
I love my stalker. Which, if you weren’t talking about a disc would sound awful 😅
Saw the title and was surprised you didn't have a Birdie strike but then you mentioned it as I was typing. Just know how much you love that disc
yeah, can't throw it in every comparison so far, def will be using it in another soon so didn't want to oversaturate it lolol :)
@@BodanzaDiscGolf understandable! I just picked one up due to your videos, can't wait for better weather so I can actually throw it.
Think that FD glides further than a Crave?
c line fd is the best disc ever made fr

The eagle is one of my favorite discs of all time. Its a great overstable fairway for my noodle arms
new C line fds are amazing. Roundish edges with that plastic feels amazing in the hand, and really great flight
Agreed. The new s-lines are amazing as well.

Love the c line fd
I have all 3 of those, my fav is the Stalker, I keep trying to replace it with something from LSD and just can't find anything yet, maybe the FRIO.
My Dude, the FD did everything you asked it to do. Feel or not, I'd be bagging 10 of them with how well they worked for you.

Went full italiano with the “I look like I took a showa, I’m soakin wet!” 😂
Just moved out of Orlando. Miss that course the most!

One of these days your gonna have to toss a servo into these reviews
Why did I feel personally attacked when he said "it's never the wind, it's always your fault"?
The green C-line FDs are the most stable, like mini PD. Purple ones tend to have more flip. They also go faaaaaaar.
Do you think the dome on the green adds stability? Mine is huge so any hint of nose up makes the profile huge at least.
@@Iliyena87 my green one is almost poptop. Not sure if it adds stability. They both seem to glide the same amount

I love my grackle. It kicked my stalker/exodus out of the bag and kept a teebird out of my bag from well before the other two mentioned
Do yourself a favor and just get a few FDs, FD is king!
Stalker and FD are great discs, haven't tried the other two. Eagle fills the spot for me

First maybe
