I always use a rule of thumb that if I’m on the fence about something, I just don’t get it because i probably won’t wear it. I’ll reach for things that I know I love over that. The earrings are very cute btw!
True if you don't love it and it's super useful like I buy shirts from Kathmandu (Australia). They have invisible pockets with a zip, quick dry fabrics, vented in the shoulder blades and the colours is a beautiful miss green.
just a tip, a lot of these tops/sweaters will look less "frumpy" if you pair it with higher waisted jeans and do a front tuck so you can actually see your waist. leaving a non-cropped top free flowing over your jeans is pretty much always going to look more frumpy than taking an extra second to style them :) that's why I usually try to go from slightly cropped styles to begin with. cropped doesn't have to mean exposing your stomach, you just have to pair it with higher waisted pants so that the shirt hits where your pants end
I’m also noticing how the crotch of Jen’s jeans hang a bit lower than they should, so that’s probably not helping either.
I'm pretty sure Jenn prefers mid to low rise jeans, but the front tuck works with those as well. I'm a fan of the front tuck.
Keep the jacket. It will go with everything most of the year. Dress looks great. You can probably get those shoes $20-$25 cheaper in 2 months. I buy shoes off season all the time to save money

@@ronnie-lynn Style is definitely unique! For me, the tones were too different. I’d wear the jacket with the dark pink top. They would look great together with some cool accessories.

The rust colored sweater looks great on you and will be nice during cooler spring days! The entire Stitchfix box was great honestly. The only thing in Wantable that was worth buying was the be a nice human sweatshirt. Everything else was a hard no.

Some of those tops would have looked so flattering with a French tuck. It’s not always about the shirt but how you tweak it to flatter you personally!
You should totally keep the entire Stitch Fix box. I love the dress, earrings, coat combo on you. You could also probably pair the boots with that outfit. I’ve seen a lot of younger women wearing dresses and boot combos like that.

Stitch Fix nailed it. I like a thinner sweater (like that orange one) for the in-between, spring/fall seasons. The dress, boots, jacket, and earrings are all adorbs.
I think you should keep the entire box. I really liked the sweater on you, actually. That color is great with your skin tone and hair. And the boots were really cute too.
I do really think it’s in your best financial interest to buy the whole stitch fix box. You can always sell the sweater or get a different bra without the harder seams that show through. Or gift it to a family member. The sweatshirt from Wantable is cool. I’d keep that one too. But as far as the rest of that box. No. The stitch fix was real nice considering a pair of nice boots and earrings a jacket that looks good on you and the pretty dress! I say keep it all.
Everything from Stitch Fix was a big win, in my opinion. I loved that thin sweater, I though it looked amazing on you. Also, a blue jean jacket would be super cute with the dress.

A tip with the boots, they'll look good with almost any outfit that has a warm palette, even if you aren't wearing red. You could even put on tights and wear them with a dress.
If you do a simple French tuck with your tops/sweaters into your jeans or even joggers it gives you more shape and makes the look more polished in 3 seconds. It’s my go to! (I used to be a rep for z supply 😂)
The jacket is a solid great investment piece that you can wear for many years. LOVE the earrings!!😘👍👍
Yea I would keep the whole box, since you can always use the boots. The dress was beautiful on you and the earrings were cool too! The jacket is nice with that 2 type of material. The neck would bother me, but it looks nice on you!
I think you’re right-your coloring looks best with deeper tones like that chocolate brown Wantable sweater and maybe jewel tones. The pale pink and beiges wash you out. Color is just as important as fit and style. Try some high-waisted pants! Then do a front tuck with the looser fitting tops. 😊
I can totally relate when you said about telling them that you are in your 30s when they try to style your box. I get a subscription box and I have to do a beauty quiz and at the end it asks my age and I always put that I am 30 when I'm actually 49, that way I don't get all skincare stuff for wrinkles and aging. I get a nice mix of cosmetics and skincare and lifestyle in my box this way. There is always a way around it to get what you want. Good luck

I’m not a huge fashion trend kinda person, BUT I feel like people should wear exactly what they feel comfortable in. That’s what I do and my kids too. It actually has made my kids more creative bc they even will ask for plain tops and iron ons or fabric paint on them.

The whole Stitch Fix box was amazing- I’d keep the whole box! The lighter sweater is great for transitioning from winter into spring and summer into fall.

Jen, you have a FABULOUS figure!! Gurl, you totally rock that dress!! Definitely you need to wear more form fitting dresses like that one. I used to be a personal stylist so I’d suggest you get a diffuser jacket to wear with the dress as well as with tee shirts. Maybe a twill or even a dark rinse Jean jacket would be fun, youthful, flirty even. Stitch Fix definitely won in the category of best selection overall. You’d be really fun to dress!! Love your energy so much ❤️ The "Be a Nice Human" sweatshirt is so great, and you look fabulous in the dress - definitely can wear the jacket with it for a more casual look. Also love the boots, but if you prefer your other pair and would reach for those over the new ones with the same outfits, they might not be worth it. For all the shirts/sweaters, I personally just couldn't justify the prices!! But maybe I'm just used to shopping at Marshalls and Goodwill haha
The nice human sweatshirt is worth every penny! I also liked the brown v-neck top. Love the dress, the boots are a definite yes and the earrings are great - Keep that whole box. If the sweater feels thin, wear a cami - that cinnamon colour is lovely on you.

Stitch fix hit it over the park! The jacket, dress, earring are so frickin cute on you. The boots are totally wearable as well. Everyone tells me I should have been a stylist but I al 71 so its a little late for that in my life. Very smart looking pieces from SF!

Earrings yes, dress yes, jacket yes, sweater yes, a t-shirt bra would make it look nicer or a tank top/camisole, boots if you have outfits that would work with them then yes because it would save wear and tear on the pair you got in the fall. Love the sweatshirt.
If you buy a brown cami, and wear a different bra, the sweater may work. I agree with your choices! The pearls were so pretty dangling in your dark hair ❤
I’m fairly new to your channel and you can take my personal opinion with a grain of salt. The boots and sweater are cute. Keep the Stitch Fix box. You can wear a cami under the cute cable knit sweater, that’s what I do when I happen to find a light/see through shirt/sweater I like.
Tip. With those semi sheer / see-thru shirts you can always get a pretty long line crop cami and wear it underneath. So if it shows technically it’s a top but also you still have coverage.

I loved everything in the stitchfix - the full box is a yes for me! The jacket is drool worthy, and I know you were in the fence about the booties, but I thought they looked great on you!

Hear me out about the pink boxy shirt: Picture it with high waisted dark jeans or even white flowy linen pants. Front tuck, add a belt and big earrings and it would be super cute. I can see it layered under a jean jacket or chunky cardigan too. It could be one of those wardrobe building pieces that can makes getting dressed easier. I don’t think the wantable box is worth keeping but those types of tops have major potential and can be dressed up or down without looking too momish💗
The sweater would be a nice weight for layering. In the spring you can have a cold morning but by afternoon it can be very warm. The earrings are gorgeous on you! You have dark hair and they are a nice contrast. Thanks for sharing!

Keep the entire Stitchfix box!!! This is probably one of my fave type of videos from u as I am same age range and hate shopping for my self! I think you should pair the stitchfix shirt/sweater with jacket, boots, jeans u had on and earrings!! Since the shirt is more lightweight and see thru, topping it with jacket would be perfect and the boots would look great with it as well! If u keep it he whole box, I wouldn’t even bother keeping sweatshirt from other subscription, not worth the money in my opinion…. Hope this helps and thanks for sharing it with us💜💜💜
I loooove the dress!! It looks so great and you can dress it up or down! I like the jacket as well, however I don’t like them together… I’m thinking of what shoes you could wear and that’s what’s throwing me for a loop. I would keep the dress for sure and the jacket if you like it enough, but wouldn’t wear together! I would wear the jacket with more of a casual look (jeans and a top/bodysuit)
I also loved the cream colored sweater even though you didn’t like it. It would look cute with high waisted jeans and tucked in at the front with a darker brown/neutral colored belt, skinny jeans rolled up over some booties or even sneakers!
I love the boots too, but I personally go for variety when buying clothing (because I’m broke lol). I wouldn’t get the boots because you already have some like it (style wise). But that’s just me! I love them otherwise.
Be a nice human, you literally say that all the time 😭 so perfect. Very expensive, but hopefully the quality makes it worth it!
Also a side note about the first shirt that you absolutely dragged 😂 that’s the style with the pocket jen! I don’t love it but it’s that super relaxed slouchy kinda whatev kinda vibe if that makes sense. Def not for everyone!

A big thing for me watching these videos is the price of these items. Nearly everything they send you I’m just thinking “omg I could get that for way less elsewhere😭”. Im a bargain shopper but spurge on things that I think are worth it, so I feel like I have a decent grasp on the value of things.

i’m super particular about shoes and i only wear a small handful of brands so if you are on the fence i’d pass. i hate seeing shoes in my closet that i’ve only worn once or twice and end up selling them on poshmark and losing money in the end.
I wud keep the whole box, them boots are a unique colour that keeps surfaces every so many years, they r a staple item, the sweater is great for upcoming spring weather, u might get a wear

I got sucked into stitch fix but after all is said and done, I really only wore 2-3 items enough times to be worth the price. If you have money to blow, definitely worth it and kind of fun.

The cable knit sweater looked nice - I really likes the cut. I would just wear a thin tank top/cami under it and that will take care of the lines. I’d keep the full stitch fix box.
I love cozy clothes…I loved the ones out of wantable but you’re right that’s a high price point for me! But I buy most of my clothes from TJ Maxx and Target so it may be reasonable to others.
I would never keep a pleather item I've had so many different items that just break down even when well cared for. The dress was super cute.

The "Be a Nice Human" sweatshirt reminds me of an Etsy shirt. I checked and I was right. There are a ton on there at more than half the price of the sweatshirt you got (and some are super cute). With my cricut machine, I could even make it for less than $15. Just something to think about

Jen, Jen, Jen!!! Everything from the Stitch Fix box was great!! Of course I wasn't there to feel the quality of the rust colored sweater, but it looked nice too. The boots are a definite YES. I think you will be disappointed if you send them back. The dress looks INCREDIBLE, and the jacket...the jacket! I am so jealous! Bonus points if it is comfortable and not stiff in the arms. I think the earrings work great for you as well. In full disclosure, I have had stitch fix in the past, and while there were things I definitely sent back (including whole boxes) I enjoyed probably about 70 to 80% if what they sent. You're tempting me to re-subscribe! I don't know what to say about the Wantable box. I could never stomach paying that much for a sweatshirt - but what do I know. If it brings you joy, then it is very much worth it. The other stuff just didn't seem like "you" at all.
