I'm the guy standing right in front of Kirk. I've gone to a lot a shows in the last 12 years but this was THE single most intense show I've EVER been too. And to boot I inadvertently got a guitar lesson out of it! I'll never forget this night.
mike584 is it just me or do people not understand how a mosh pit works there?? looks like people wer just throwing fists at each other? i remember going to see down in glasgow, scotland and a moshpit broke out where someone was throwing fists about and phil n kirk stopped the show till the dude was thrown out lol
Your telling me. I was the guy who got his beard pulled by that pussy in the hat as he punched me in the head. I see theres a dude that seems to have been upfront who caught most of the struggle on film. If you read this please post that up. Trying to get that kick banned from the place. He told the security afterwards that i punched him in the face......which i did, but only after he was pulling my beard as he yelled "WOAH! WOAH! WOAH! WOAH! WOAH!". If you slow it down to a quarter of the normal speed at 10:45 - you see he seems to catch a stray shot to the face from someone right before i try to push him to create some room as i was right by the stage and people were going crazy. He must have turned around and thought it was me. after speaking to the security and the owner, they wouldn't remove him from the building.
Rebornthrudoom You can see he starts to back up into me, i was pinned against the stage as he was backing up and i just tried to put some distance between us so i didn't get hurt.
Rebornthrudoom lol here in scotland if people moshed like that they wud end up in hospital, we have writtin rules, no flying fists or any kind of fighting and if someone hits the ground you pick em back up, the pits in scotland are crazy......but no flying fists lol
thebigpupster I agree with that completely. You even see me throw my hands up and wave back and forth as if to say "I DIDNT DO ANYTHING! I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH YOU"
Anymore? You go back to the 90's Existence was rarely played live. I would imagine it would be a tough song to nail perfectly live. Crowbar still bust it out every now and again. Seen them play it live in 2017. Here's another live version of it at this show. ua-cam.com/video/j8BTGn-wNKA/v-deo.html
I fucking love Crowbar, but I'm losing the interest. Their last album was just more of the same, nothing new, and something's going on with Kirk's voice. Seriously, I think it's nice that he left Down to focus on Crowbar, but if that's it, it didn't change a thing. Brunson is fucking the guitars, Jeff does a great job, but I can't stand Brunson. And there's more: if Kirk gets tired of the band, he probably can't return to Down, because Bobby is giving Down a new vibe, he's 10 times a better guitarist. Also, why is Kirk dragging the songs slower and slower? I just don't get it. I feel bad for Buckley, he has to change the tempo every single time Kirk fucks up the rythym, and that makes you think Buckley is wrong, but if you pay attention, Kirk is the one dragging all down.
Pedro Andrade I really think you're just being way to critical about this all kirk has wrote some of the best and consistent metal for 20 years plus you ever try to sing and play a crowbar song ? even just the vocal approach is enough to make a normal singer lose his voice also you have to remember he is 50 fuckin Years old look at hetfeild kirk is doing a shit ton of shows on top of it the man is only human as far as the slowing of tempos its a doom based band they get a reaction out of drawing out the melody in the lasting dose so the fuck what. I get where you're coming from with it but it's unfair to say that about kirk

Wow his voice is in tuff shape right here but crowbar rules anyway
So that's why they don't play existence is punishment anymore, the guitarist on the right has a hard time playing it, kirk has a hard time singing it.
Maybe
They played it earlier this year in Syracuse
