OMG!!! Another anthem...She is one of a kind. Her playlist has been on repeat since I found her a month or two back. Elements immediately turns on when I hop in my car, and 15 seconds in this one got added to playlist. SO excited for new stuff...
I love the phrasing with the words Hatchet, Gaslit, Obsessive Addict,Batshit hitting so quick. The way her vocal style contrasts between sections, from hard staccato to the legato phrasing in the chorus… the hook is so catchy and so easy to relate to - sadly - but that is what makes her a great artist is not just delivering the message but doing it in vocals and delivery that gives the listener feeling empowered to take their own actions. I love the vocal background just adding an entirely epic ending. There is only one Chinchilla.
I sense that this is about the toxic relationship she had with her management prior to becoming independent. The last bridge kind of ties that in for me, but it is also relatable to anyone who has been in a toxic relationship.
She so empowering such a powerful woman one of my favourite independent artists thankyou for reacting to this so soon 🎉❤🎉 hope nothing but the best of this world for her bad bitch energy right there love you chinchilla need a full album live hooked
Thanks for jumping in so quick! great to see, love the tune, love the sentiment and vibe.......only those who are dirt bags in personal and business life ned to be worried ha ha..... can be taken many ways male/female/boss/general all relationships love it, people definitely want more!!!! Fire reaction buzzzzzzzzz SPLAT!!!!!
There's no need to search her pockets... She can easily finish off anyone with a simple movement of her nails!... But they look good on her, if I may say so! She is, increasingly, someone whose voice and work I can't help but listen to more and more... and more attentively! I really like. Thanks for the reaction!
I think most songs we think are breakup songs are actually referring to the music labels, as she has been public about how she was screwed over just before and during the pandemic. I may be wrong.
It is interesting what men get out of Chinchilla's lyrics versus women. As a woman, I definitely hear loads of strength and power. But, her songs also speak to women's vulnerability. In Fingers: hold your keys in your knuckles like I have to. In this song she speaks of being gaslit. There's so much power in speaking to both vulnerability and power in the same song. I think men misunderstand Chinchilla when they focus on: Bitch got power, violence, weaponry, and Don't mess with her. I hear Chinchilla saying: it's not that women do not want a space for vulnerability, it's that they DO want a SAFE space for vulnerability and (mostly) men make it hard to maintain.
Could be. I don't re-read lyrics prior to recording otherwise it wouldn't be an authentic first time reaction. It would be a researched dissertation, and I'm not sure anyone wants me to pick songs apart like that. It would lack any WOW- factor a reaction brings.
@zack_reacts I understand what your saying, I was giving my opinion on what the song " might " be about. You didn't have to go for my juggler man, so unnecessary.
First reactor to jump on this new number. Chinchilla rocks! She should have millions of views. Amazingly talented. Thanks for doing this❤

Hence why genders have a difficult time understanding each other at times.
She’s sassy as f***
If you really read the lyrics this song isn't about an ex, I'm leaning more towards someone she worked with.

@@stephanaconkey929 haha it's all love. I like your opinion, and you may be right! Beauty of music- open for interpretation 😀
You think women are the more emotional of the genders. 😂
Yes. I've met them.
