I've always preferred this to the studio version. Though the official music video is very creative and visually appealing. Something I've noticed that you'll only catch if you watch both versions is that the last line here "So keep them close to you. Put your keys in your knuckles like I have to." isn't in the studio version. I always wondered what the catalyst was for adding that line. I take it as, I've taken this power from you that you had over me, but because of you, I'll always have the fear that this could happen again. I'll always keep my guard up now.
Chinchilla has stated the origin of the Live Outro section in a couple of interviews. It happened organically whilst she and her keyboard player (ZeOnKeys) were arranging the Live version in perperation for the show. Ze was playing around with some chords for the ending, and Chinchilla was free styling over the top and just sang the two lines out of the blue. Both stopped at the point and realised they had found a perfect ending for the song and hence added a new Outro section to the song just for the Live version.
For me this track is truly at a new level of vocal talent, she has so much style and class, I just love her and all her tracks are brilliant and look forward more releases.
What a great delivery by Chinchilla. She's so talented and I hope we'll see more of her on your channel.

She's so good at this, and so vocally talented. What's interesting is if you listen to the album version of this, and the video for that is a lot of fun, you don't get any of the gravity of the lyrics. It really is amazing how much a performance can change a song.

Ren a Chinchilla both finished with the same management company at the same time??? And both became independent Ren came out with a song called Power and Chinchilla came out with this .I think they felt they were being held back and pulled down hence the You can never pull me down line and The shape of me line along with the big coat may be because (I have read in other comments)they criticized her weight 😮all her songs are 🔥and worth checking out maybe start with Elements ❤❤❤
