In fact, the way he stops Hans Gruber is with Christmas Tape to hide his gun. He literally saves the day with Christmas Tape!

i agree. and it's not just movies. it's tv shows when they release individual seasons or a complete series. for example, i have married... with children the complete series on dvd. i also prefer physical with games, music, even books. i want to have the actual product and not just rent something from a digital service that could be shut down.

If you can remove Christmas from the equation and it still makes sense, it's not a "Christmas movie". If you remove Christmas from Die Hard, it falls apart. John McClane is only in town because it's Christmas AND the entire robbery plot hinges on lackadaisical police response on account of the holiday. (It also uses Ode to Joy as the main orchestral theme, which is a Christmas song.)
It's a shame that James with his neat display and collection is so hooked on streaming. I'm a physical-media-for-life guy. I have Netflix, but I won't even stream those movies if I own them (unless I only own it on VHS). I like to look through my shelves and pick something, look at it, hold it and then watch it. I like to lend them to people. And I like all those special features that often aren't on streaming. Streaming has lost in my house.

I loved Die Hard Trilogy on PS1! Die Hard was an overhead game like this. DH2 was a FPS designed like Time Crisis. DH3 was a driving game where you drove Zeus' taxi and deactivate the bombs around the city.
Bruce Willis probably isn't on the cover because he probably wasn't well known at all in Japan when the game came out. (He wasn't even seen as an action star in the US until after Die Hard came out), and thus having his face on the cover would not help sales in Japan.
It's a bit funny how they got defeated by the language barrier, because every time they took the wrong door, Bruce says that it's the wrong way to go in Japanese.

I remember playing diehard trilogy on psx when I was a kid.. I never like playing this game, because I'm suck at it. But love watching my friends plays the game. Especially when you hit pedestrian on the game and John mcclane said "opss.. sorry"😂
