This has got to be one of the most unhelpful assembly videos I have ever seen. Customer support simply informed me that "all our other English speaking customers have no problem", so I am glad to see it's not only me that's struggling with this. No details on the type of screw or nut to use- what side up should the black plastic strips be? The manual and instructions from this and the google drive are truly subpar. I only hope the machine works well enough to make this nightmare worth it.
The part related to the machine assembly is awfull, no explanation, no detail on kind of screw using (short, medium, long) some sub assembly skipped...
The software that they include seems pretty rudimentary and limited. Does anyone know if the firmware is GRBL based? Has anyone tried LaserGRBL or Lightburn software?
There is another video by creaters unite showing building a Eleksmaker which is that same . What i didn't like my 6060 laser engraver is it came disk, but it wasn't a installation disk drive. it just told the make of the product and where to go on line to download the drive program which the http address didn't work. luckily it did give you the name of the product. but nothing else except that its called a 3000mv engraver. there is no safety or on and off switch. which you will have to have before you start to use your machine. I don't care if it was at a cheap price, which anything over a hundred dollars shouldn't be concidered cheap. It should come complete with everything including a installation disk that works..
Didn't get the instructions or software with the machine. So far no response from the website I ordered this thing from. Was able to get most of the assembly done by watching this video. Only problem I have at the moment is the servos are 6 pin connector but the cables only have 4 wire connectors. What am I supposed to do here?
Finally was able to get it put together between watching this video over and over again and looking at the .doc file. It's connected and able to burn just not burning the right way. In the software it looks great, but when burning it mirrors the image. Anybody know how to fix it? is that what the firmware upgrade fixes?
Figured it out. I noticed in the software when I pressed up the machine moved down. I switched the side cables so opposite from the tutorial video. Now it works!!
when your own assembly video shows the builder flipping multiple parts around; not checking any instructions for clarification, seemingly building the whole thing from memory, and forgetting parts: there is something wrong with your instructions. then you put it on a carpeted floor... a laser, meant to carve, on an industrial carpeted floor.. guess you don't like the building and want to burn it down; or don't like your coworkers.
Things I've learned while putting this together. Careful with the screws, they are pretty weak and strip easily. Take plastic protection off if you want to prior if you want clear pieces, blue looks nice too but over time the plastic protection may start to peel off. check to make sure which white spaces you are using for the motor, at first glance they look the same size. They ain't. I used the short ones for the two Y axis motor wheels. I'm a little OCD when it comes to the Y axis motor plates. I turned them so they have the angled front facing towards the front. Recommend having a small fan blowing on the wood to keep smoke away from the laser and possibly blocking it. After finally getting this up and running this little DIY laser engraver is amazing for its price.
Voce conseguiu resolver o problema? pelo que vi ( ainda estou montando a minha) voce tem que instalar um drive dela, igual fazemos quando instala uma impressora.
Benbox provides some firmwares in Benbox/3.7.99/roms and you can flash it via the flash symbol in the Benbox software. I have the same laser as in the video and use NANO(328p/LX-Nano with the LX-Nano.328p.215something firmware. I also tried LaserGRBL but have yet to get it to work with GRBL firmware

@@raulparedes7278 did you wire the power input up? I forgot it the first time and was buffled why it did not work. So check: USB connection to the Arduino, power connection to the current control board, press the switche next to the power input to start the motors etc. Which software are you using?

which way does the cord go-the ridged edge downwards or upwards.
cord goes ridge down on the rail so that when pulled into the gear the ribs end up towards the gear.
Is it possible to increase rail length ?
This video is of no help at all with assembly

Has anyone been able to use lightburn on this?
This product is crap. The company is absolutely no help. I started a dispute with my credit card company. I would suggest you all do the same.
