There is NO BETTER PROP FIGHTER PLANE THAN THE SPITFIRE AT ALL....By helping save the free world of its time....Thanks very much...!
Phenomenal. The Griffon incarnation was a beast that propelled the Spitfire to it's apex.
The last of the Few from a time when our beloved country still had a spine
No music..no commentary..no bullshit
I love the whistling sound that accompanies it.
Lovely! Some years back I saw a quite similar Spit with a Griffon in Ängelholm (AGH) in Sweden. It was during the Icelandic volcano eruption, so all jets were grounded. He had the entire airport for himself 👍 I filmed it with my compact camera (lousy quality). Very proud I come home and load the videos over to my computer. Then I show it to my woman. She looks and listens for about 10 seconds. "Sounds just like any old war movie". Curtain...
Fabulous sound and vision - the growl of the big 37 litre V12 Rolls Royce Griffon engine is so much nicer than the merlin I always think.
Thank you very much, Adrian! :)
Love WWII airplanes. They have that special throaty growl sound.
Great videography. Could count each blade during the low-level fly by. Thank you for sharing.
OMG, that sound. I could only fly a plane like this in the grandest of my (wet) dreams!
I don't blame you for having wet dreams of that sort.
WHAT A AIRCRAFT! John P.
Superb film, great close ups and great sound. Amazing difference in engine note to the Merlin.
Thank you! :)
More beauty and beast than any model in a battle dress.
Great those high-speed passes, joy for the eyes and ears. Enjoyed your video as always my friend.
Thanks, mate! :)
That is one awesome Aircarft my most favorite WW2 plane!!!! Thankyou for sheering.
Oh, yes! This is a real killer-sound!
Klasse gefilmt super Klang. Danke
Klingt schon toll! Super Aufnahmen von Dir! Daumen hoch! Gruss inselvideo!
Vielen lieben Dank! :)
Thanks K.F. Great pics.
Wet,wet, wet in my...that sound is so wroooarrrr!!!
Glorious!!
Wow awesome... And that sound 😎😍👍
The Griffin, Gryphon, Griffon, does sound better than the Merlin.
Simply, pure power :-)
Great video knight flight video, amazing and beautiful, the sound of that Griffin omg😀👍👌
Many thanks for your kind comment! :)
Great video as usual!
Thanks! :)
Fast als ob man neben Dir steht ^^
😉
That was awesome!
What? 5 hours in and no dislikes yet? Come on guys you’re letting the side down.
Great video, but (!) more info on when and where and the history of the bird would add so much more ??
Please read the description of the video and you'll find all info you need. ;)
😍😍🤗
Even if I were a pilot, I would never be able to fly one of those.
That sound would give me a hardon that would obstruct me from operating the stick from the moment I pressed those starter buttons.
I’d say , about, roughly , not that I’ve flown one but 812 MPH
I prefer the model with 3 blades, but still beautiful.
Great vid, what kind of mic did you use?
The internal mic.
This laughs at any p51
