I love black opium, I think the reason why people say it doesn’t last long is because they become sort of nose blind to it when they are constantly smelling it. For example, I wore it once and thought it faded quickly; however, I tried wearing it to bed and woke up still smelling it.
I'm team black opium intense. The coffee is prominent and there's a witchy note of absinthe. Not to mention the stunning midnight blue glitter bottle 😍
I am so happy that you're the first person I saw who reviewed this perfume! I've been eyeing it since I saw it on the Ulta app! Nuit blanche is my absolute favorite flanker I love that it's sweeter than the original black opium. I am so sad it's discontinued and it's the only perfume I bought a backup of.

with my black opium extreme I got last year, it’s deeper now, and is giving me the fall vibes I’ve been craving. I bought a backup because this summer has been miserable with this heatwave, I’m so ready for fall and this black opium extreme IS fall in a bottle ♥️🥰🍁🍂

I sold my bottle of Black Opium because there was a bitter note in it that didn’t sit well on my skin and the longevity on me was horrid… but now I kind of miss it 😞 I might I have to try the extreme!
I am definitely going to get this perfume. My husband loves the OG on me before it became popular and hated.
I'll give this a try the next time I am near Ulta. Sounds like it could be right up my alley....

I was curious to smell it , I went to my local Ulta a week ago store and they didn’t have a tester or a sample
But with your review i think I will pass on this one I already have a travel size bottle of the OG and it’s more than enough for me

I have a Bottle of Opium that is close to 35 Years old.
I had stopped wearing Fragrances for about 20 Years and recently got back into it and remembered that I had that Bottle of Opium - I was scared that it may have gone off but I pulled it out and sprayed it on, and it was still amazing!
When I finish this Bottle and buy another one, I am going to keep the Original Bottle for Display in my China Cabinet🤗

I am a team Black Opium, it's the only coffee fragrance I have access to, it's really nice for winter and my fave is the one with blue colour
I like the way you describe the original BO. I also feel like it gets a bad rep lately and I don’t agree with it. I have my 3th bottle, I don’t use it everyday but I find it very uplifting especially in the fall and winter. On me it lasts all day but I can’t say if it projects for too long. For sure it projects quite a bit because that’s how I bought it. My work colleague wore it one day at work and I could get this whiff of a very fresh yet warm scent anytime she’d walk by my desk. I went to the store and bought it that same day. It’s been in my collection since. Thank you for the review, I’m excited to try the new one. P.S. To me CH good girl smells like a girl who’s been out drinking 😁
I like the bottle on new one, I had too many perfumes on to spray it but from lid smelled nice. Sounds like this extreme is more of a true gourmand vs the original being a fruity floral. I’m keeping my original for now, hoping to finish it up come fall.
Ha! Funny that you say that the original doesn’t last on you because it really does on me! But I must say, I’m really curious about the Extreme and I want to try it! Let’s hope it doesn’t take forever to get it in Canada! 🤞🏼

I owned a bottle about 5 years ago. It became too popular, all the young girls in the office wear it and I still smell it a lot on public transport so I got sick of it 😂 and the flankers don't excite me but I remember trying it for the time and loving it..

I love Vanilla. To bring out the vanilla in the OG Black Opium I use the solid single-note fragrance
The solid single- note fragrance, Lush Vanillary. Then I spray the Black Opium about an inch away from the Vanillary. It brings out the vanilla in the OG and the lasting power is about 6 hrs on me with the Vanillary.
Try Al Haramain Rawaa. Compared to Good Girl and Black Opium. I have a bottle and it smells, too me, like deep dark berries despite the almond coffee top note. Nice bottle and juice for price.

I love, love the original Opium such a beautiful oriental. I have never smelled Black Opium.
The original opium was my very first favorite perfume and still is one of my favorites. I tried black opium about 4 years ago and fell in love you have to try it.

I don’t own the original but I would like to try because everyone calls it trashy or cheap. I know that’s weird but I🤷🏽♀️. I would love to try the flanker you mentioned that is hard to find.

I love black opium I can't believe there are black opium haters. Oh well there just missing out
I’ve smelled the original and one of the flankers and it was .. Meh, the only reason I feel this way is that it disappears on me so fast, I can’t smell any of those notes.. if I pay $100 or more it has to project and leave a trail, even if I like the smell, if it doesn’t perform, I won’t buy it .

Coffee chocolate smells sweet to me so this doesn’t help. I love the perfume and I don’t get why they make so many variations of one perfume especially a classic one like this. Chanel 5 has one original scent. Let’s keep it simple life is crazy enough

Nuit blanche smells good but it lasts even less then the original 🥲 that’s why I sold mine 💔
