Illinois Railway Museum: The Showcase

We made one last trip to the Illinois Railway Museum for The Showcase Weekend. To continue celebrating the 70th Anniversary of IRM, the museum stayed open for 24 hours on Saturday, September 16 until Sunday, September 17. We initially planned on being there for the majority of the 24 hours but due to thunderstorms that occurred on Saturday night postponed our plans and our crew headed out on Sunday morning until the early afternoon. While we may not have been there for the 24 hours, our crew still kept busy and had a great time as we continued celebrating the 70 Year Anniversary of Illinois Railway Museum. Enjoy the video!

Yeah, rain was a bit of a pain, especially when I have to station myself on the open platform of the Pawnee. Still, being in charge of a steam-hauled passenger train is pretty neat.
