Hansen hit him with the "Hey boo", but he should just jump out shouting "BOO!". I'd love to see that reaction. They'd probably just run out and get manhandled by the police. I guess that would cut into Chris hearing his own voice, so that wouldn't fly.
I was 15 when a 22 year old man became my boyfriend. I thought he was cool and I could do whatever I wanted because I felt mature for my age. In the end I only realized how creepy it was 15 years later. Teenaged girls getting attention from men makes them feel less insecure. Please keep an eye out for your kids, and who they are talking to or spending time with. Don't treat them badly or create low self-esteem in them. It's way too often this happens to fragile girls looking for attention on the internet.
I was in 6th grade and it was a guy online who *said* he was 16, but honestly I had no clue what a 16 year old guy looked like. My only real reference was media which overwhelmingly casts adults as teenagers so I had and still have no clue as to what his age was. I didn't even realize how messed up it was until I was in high school and the thought of seeing a middle schooler that way made me feel sick.
I saw his face and immediately flashed back to the sound bite of him saying "hey baby" on the phone. No matter how many times I've heard it, it makes my skin crawl. 🤮
Chris talking to them is crucial because if they lawyer up usually they can go free. This is a way to interrogate without letting them know they have the right to remain silent.

Getting people to sit down/ comply and think they can’t leave even when they totally can is a skill. Back when I worked in security I learned how to do that. Got a guy to sit and wait for the police for over an hour without telling him he wasn’t allowed to leave (cause technically I couldn’t hold anyone in custody at that job.) It’s not easy and Chris Hansen is the master of the skill. Part of it is that he never sits down and gets on their level. He’s always looking down at them. Also he stays calm and only asks questions he already knows the answers to so when they lie and he can prove them wrong it makes them feel more helpless and like there’s no escape. The psychological concepts are simple but it’s all in the execution. It also helps that these guys he catches aren’t the brightest.
I was a freshman in high school when my 14 year old friend was dating a 20 year old that had failed high school repeatedly. I tried repeatedly to get her to leave him because it was so blatantly pedophilia. She sidnt leave him until one day when I was upset over the death of a pet and he cursed at me. The moment I burst into tears, she decided to break up with him and she stood up for me.

I feel like if you ever hear someone say "heeeey baybee" the way he did in your proximity, you're probably justified in racking a shotgun and Tuskan Raider-warbling after them
I never understood why they lie to Chris about the girls' age. Like, you're inside the house you think she lives in, talking to someone you think the girl's close to.... WHY WOULDN'T YOU ASSUME CHRIS KNOWS HER AGE?!
i think it’s so they can pretend they thought the girl was older. like at that point they don’t know chris has the texts so they want to tell him they were lead to believe the girl was older or somethin?
Yeah, at that point they still think they can get away with saying they thought she was older. Why a lot of them immediately go for an age that still fucks them is beyond me.
Someone who might be her father is in the house yet you think they don't know the age of the girl. Predator logic. Also they think if they tell him that the girl told them she was at least 18 they'll get off scot free.

Just the phrase, “when I’m inside you” should land most people in jail for being weird. Also he did survive prison because I’m pretty sure he gets caught by Chris twice, idk after that though
He didn't get busted again, but he was spotted at a couple different Hoovervilles around the area where he was locked up, so he won't last much longer and he hasn't enjoyed a single second of his time back on the outside.
I love that it's basically an unspoken rule that the rest of the inmates are totally against these predators. I hope they made his time in there a living hell
Yeah but most people in prison aren’t in for violent shit, but yeah it’s an unspoken rule that pedos and predators get their shit Rocked and nobody wants to stay with them
When you think about it. Chris Hansen is the closest we have to a real Batman vigilante. He bends the law of entrapment to catch bad guys. I would not be surprised if it turned out after the show he puts on a mask and looks for his next target.
TBH I think this would not be considered entrapment even if it was law enforcement doing it, as they have nothing forcing them to commit the acts or to the conversation. Entrapment would require some sort of threat or bait and switch, like if they said the age was higher and then changed the age later or something.
@@inleviwetrust if it’s about bad checks or some harassment , I’ll take taking down pedos any day , unless there’s something I’m not seeing , I prefer the far lesser of two evils
Yeah, a lot of convicted criminals hate pedophiles because they have children of their own. That’s why they either get the shit kicked out of them and or “drop the soap”. My husband told me that those pedobears in jail get the worse of the worse shit beaten out of them. They are on the lowest pole and everyone always want to beat them up or kill them. No one likes them at all. Period.

He was actually out on bond when he showed up at the sting house. His dealer had just got busted for selling meth, and John texted him while the police were going through his phone. He was like "Yo, can I get some meth?", and they were like "Sure can".

They Would Of Never Caught The Guy If It Wasn't For That Mic Leaf

Why a lot of them immediately go for an age that still fucks them is beyond me.

TBH I think this would not be considered entrapment even if it was law enforcement doing it, as they have nothing forcing them to commit the acts or to the conversation.
