All good thanks and your wee dance was great 😂 and I love the realness well done 👍 if you get stuck go with tracing paper and use your projector for movies 🍿 🎥 life is short have fun and just keep being yourself xx
That is a good suggestion. This is why I recommended tracing within the image so to not leave pencil marks. Chalk would be good as it it easy to wipe. Thank you.
Thank you for showing your mistakes. It makes you human. Most (American especially) videos are so perfect, too perfect. No one is real, it is all fake. And I don't like fake. Maybe a Dutch thing, since I live in the Netherlands. ;) Anyway, nice to watch just a normal video, no glitter, no drama, just you being you as a painter who tried to learn us someting. Thank you! :D
Thank you so much for enjoying the video. I appreciate your comment very much. Like the great Bob Ross would say, there are no mistakes, Only happy accidents. Painting is meant to be enjoyed and I hope you keep enjoying painting!
Thank you so much! I couldn't figure out how to set up the projector for the canvas. I REALLY over thought it😅. I was about to spend way more money then I needed. You're awesome!!😄
Thank you for sharing your projector idea! I’m planning on trying it myself. I’d like to see more art videos and definitely more dancing included too! Subscribed!😃
That's Awesome!! Exactly what I have been looking for. I was trying to find a way to transfer some pretty coloring pages to a large canvas. thanks for the video
Just had to comment on two things... First, that was a cute little dance you did. Made me giggle. Secondly, I love your energy. It's cool to watch someone enjoying themselves as they are videoing and teaching at same time. You've got a great voice too.
I have trouble mixing colors. Screwed up A LOT. Get a color wheel. It REALLY helps with mixing colors, especially the basic three, (blue red yellow) to get the right shades. A wheel helps with shade, tint and tone too.
Thanks for posting, I am always appreciative when people take the trouble to make these video's. One comment I would make is that for $60 or so for a projector you could buy lots of painting by numbers canvases and they even tell you what collours to use. Stay safe and happy my friend.
Great video thank you! I always use charcoal pencil or charcoal stick to draw before painting and it sort of mix with the paint and desapear…but I also don’t mind seeing the charcoal lines if they happens to show …it’s part of the process and I find quite interesting …
Supercool. Enjoyed your video especially the dancing when you were cooking! (Were you cooking?) Good few tips there. Keep up the painting, I am just starting now and very interested in how a projector could help me. Power to you 🤗
Looked -up this RCA RPJ 136 like you mentioned in à comment below 106,62 CAD went up most be covid price lol ! Deceived would of bought at 60 like you mentioned ! 😭 Any alternative ? Thank you for this vidéo Greetings from Q, C
I found one for $70 new : www.amazon.ca/Projector-Supported-Portable-Children-Included/dp/B09MKQKKRH/ref=asc_df_B09MKQKKRH/?tag=googleshopc0c-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=459286668676&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=2996926596932401741&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1002199&hvtargid=pla-1663437448557&psc=1 Looks to have the same stats. The one I got for $60 was a. refurbished unit back then too and it did have issues so I ended up returning it. I might buy this new $70 one too.
Thanks for the video , I didn't know about these projectors and so affordable....great to know. Sometimes, you may need to just trace a quick outline of maybe an animal or something technical to put in a painting and not have to spend a lot of time on actually drawing it. Also, by looking at some of the comments, I bet you didn't know their were so many pompous and anal people out there. LOL Happy painting!
I’ve long been intending to get an image projector for just this purpose. Can you give me the model of your projector so I’m sure I have the mounting option underneath? Thank you for your video.
I have the same thing but I don't know how to make it work. I don't have a computer. Can you please tell me what to do to get to use it? I really appreciate it have a very colorful day and happy painting
For this version I had to use HDMI and I used a computer. If you only have a mobile device I would recommend a projector that has bluetooth so you can screen mirror a device.
I plugged the laptop and projector together with an HDMI cable. If your laptop doesn't have an HDMI: you can get, for example, a USBC hub that offers more connection options.
Great video, just wondering if you have any ideas of projectors that show grids, values, black and white, maybe handset. The autograph ones went while back they seemed to have most qualities, told aught to go for something with lots lumens etc... looking for one that you think has it all budget less than 500 dollars. Has to be with features such as values etc.. that help when painting. thanks lots
I haven't had an opportunity to try out professional projectors. For the task of tracing, this basic one did everything it needed to. If you're looking for more lumens the only difference the brightness, maybe for painting in a well lit area. I simply lowered my lights to see better but I also wasn't using it on while painting. Hope this was useful.
@@lynnwallis8654 I would be happy. On a side note, I have been in touch with the artist. Not that I needed to mention this because as I’ve mentioned plenty of times on this video… You’re allowed to paint anything you see for personal use. If this was for sale it would then be a legal issue.
All good thanks and your wee dance was great 😂 and I love the realness well done 👍 if you get stuck go with tracing paper and use your projector for movies 🍿 🎥 life is short have fun and just keep being yourself xx
I enjoyed how your video stepped through right from projector purchase, to almost finished! Thanks for posting 😊
Not sure if you're still checking comments. Suggest tracing with chalk. Lines blend with paint. Use light brown or grey chalk is best.

Yes, the beauty of art is that you make it your own in every way possible. There are no mistakes. Love it.
Thumbs up 👍🏻 before you even finished the painting, that dance sequence clinched it!😅
Congrats on your channel! Great how-to video. I subbed and liked. God bless you!!
Well done and informative hugs from Scotland 🤗
You dance very well. Thank you for not being boring. lol
I use watercolor pencils so marks disappear when I paint because they mix in with paint. It’s hard to cover pencil lines, they always show!
Your Katana swords are placed upside down in the stand, nice video by the way.
I will change them right away! Thank you!
That little dance you did made me subscribe LOL
lol, how embarrassing!
Great job! You are very talented! 😻
Great job, More Are please 😘
Good stuff,thanks.
Great video!
Great tool to share. Like your art videos. ✨🪄✨

Thank you. No cooking, just rinsing out some paintbrushes in the sink. Thanks for the support
this is Old Idea done by Norman Rockwell although its good to remind
Ho did Rockwell implement this? I assume there no projectors back then. Just asking because I’m just curious, not doubting you.

It’s not ok to take another artists and copy like that.
Create your own art, or pay the artist you are copying
I assure you it's perfectly fine for personal use.
nice

I got the RCA RPJ136 Home Theater Projector. The bottom thread is a smaller one than traditional tripods FYI, check the stats if you do find it.

Wat brand did you used for tracing
Brand of projector was RCA
A pencil.
Very useful video for artists
I am your new friend here
Please keep friendship always
How did you get the picture from the laptop on to the projector screen...sorry for being dim?

Can you just use other people's images like this? Copyright law?
You recreate it for yourself. You would get in trouble if you're trying to sell them for profit.
Yes you always have it if you DIDN'T make it you'll have to get written permission to use it happy painting
How much price of this projector
Today they cost about 80-100 dollars canadian
I hope you purchased the digital painting before hand, it may be copyright infringement
It’s perfectly fine. Just like a picture you take at a Picasso museum. No special permission needed.
@@FirstUA-camChannel incorrect, how would you feel if someone did that to you ?
