Saves massive time AND creates massive amounts of GREAT MUSIC. (EX: took german synth pioneers 45 minutes to make a brilliant album, same as many jazzers.... b/c they IMPROVISE. I can make a brilliant album EVERY 45 minutes!) And it's infinitely more FUN and healthier than doing everything yourself in your little dungeon!

I don't know why this fascinates me, but when you said something along the lines of "if I had my absolute way, I'd just work in a white void with just one little piece of gear I needed. I never got the grey, dungeon aesthetic."
Every time i've watched your videos the one thing that stands out is the piercing white. I never understood why people liked that so much. My studio isn't "grey dungeon" but I find it incredibly hard to work with bright lights. Its a pulsating, anxious and distracting feeling when too much light is present. I changed out all my lights to the 5W vintage yellow-y bulbs that give a warm, comfortable feeling. No color noise, just the screen and my thoughts.
My brother on the other-hand is much like yourself. He always has 4 lights on shining incredibly bright with the ultra-white hue. I never understood that, and that makes my head hurt. It just goes to show people's different personalities and personal characteristics and often times reflects in their work.
Great video. This wasn't knocking you, but rather an observation I made that i'm glad you dived a bit deeper into to feed my curiosity.

Good point - I’m the same exact way. Bright, white spaces, whether at home or in a bathroom or in a classroom just make me anxious and uneasy. It’s not a space I can comfortably focus in and feel at peace. Warm, dim lights on the other hand set the tone and feel so warm and cozy. It seems like Andrew’s room isn’t too bad though. It seems comfy enough, but a white void would definitely not work for me 😂

Pretty slick Andrew. I admit I don't even use a desk. It's My method, I just use a small bed-side cabinet (the surface is 0.4m by 0.4m 15.7in x 15.7in) with a TV on top to serve as a monitor I have a pc keyboard and a mouse on it as well as some creative monitors lol. I pull out the drawer to use as a shelf for a keyboard controller, haha. It feels like I huddle in a small space. It's actually a very productive means to bolster workflow. Less distraction.

I have set a goal to get your system from perfect circuit ( www.perfectcircuit.com/andrew-huang-system.html ) when I learn more about setting up a rack and what goes to what. I look forward to it!
