considering the time traveled on the line usually is 115 minutes and this new time is now 8.5 minutes, and that bart's top speed in the tunnel is about 70mph, the top speed in this timelapse is roughly 941mph
Ironic that you never posted it considering you love to post timelapses lol, thanks for not copy striking me and I hope you enjoyed my weird music taste.
Glad the driver didn't hassle you more than he did about the cam retrieval in the end. I was thinking exactly how he is going to get the cam now when it pulled into that Antioch transfer train station. I'm sure you had it all worked out in your head, but then the driver had to hassle you. Thanks for the effort in making the video to share, and also the various interviews.
Hey, just a heads up, I didn't make the documentary. I just some random internet user who speed up the footage because I like time lapses. Make sure to leave this thoughtful comment on the actual video. ☺
@@tpritstwisty6302 I apologize for commenting here in the incorrect YT channel and video. I should've looked thru my history to locate the correct YT channel and video. Hopefully, no one has been offended and this particular comment is done.
@tylercapalot6938 Oakland is what i call a Suburban City, while everything past the mountain range is just suburbs. So everything outside of the inner Bay is stuper car centric
8 minutes and 30 seconds. They really sped up service, and I thought the maglev in Shanghai was fast. Good work BART. ;)

correction: 1h55 assumes millbrae-antioch.
true time taken:1h26 sfo->pittsburg.
true top speed: about 708mph (assuming normal top speed of 70mph)
for top speed of bart here to match top speed of shanghai maglev (186mph) the video would need to be about 20 minute long

The same reason there is a catwalk. If the train breaks down or if there is a fire, passengers need a way to get out of the tunnel.
