I was in SF in early April and saw the ad for this while riding BART, wish I was able to be there for the last run
Great turn out! They should save some for movie making. If they could increase safety at certain stations and parking lots ridership would definitely go up.
Even if they have all that, it is no guarantee that ridership will increase.

Nicely done, Ben! Missed running into you yesterday! I'm so das that BART could not keep a set stashed away after all this to trot out for future special occasions. There is a ton of history in these cars, never to run again.
Thanks! Yeah, unfortunately BART didn't keep a set for special occasions. Though a set of A-B-C cars will be saved and on display at the Western Railway Museum.
If you want to see the Legacy Bart train again, you could go to Universal Studio Hollywood and see it at stage 50, on the studio tram tour.

JC, it's about time. Seattle's Link train already has newly designed cars, and it's only been in service for ten years. Nixon's train was still in service???. That's ashame 🤣

First subway I ever rode was BART Green Line on the A/B fleet from South Hayward to Embarcadero Station in the early 1990s. Now, BART is 100% new Fleet Of The Future. Goodbye the classic BART cars '72-'24
