Agree, love watching Del doing kitchens. Helped us a lot doing ours this year. About to start our utility after Christmas so any tips about stacking washers and dryers much appreciated…👍
Hi Del. Thanks for all the videos. As you may remember I am just a DIY monkey, fairly proficient, but I have to learn watching others. Recently I helped some friends fit their kitchen (IKEA, another story with no rear voids for services or adjustments!) I was definitely referencing some of your videos in my head while working through it. I am not used to working ‘on site’ with a garage workshop at home, whole different game!
nice one del and welcome back. thought you had forgot about us. i just got a b&q kitchen out of my life the other day. tiny little house. massive sofa delivered to the living room that took up half of that room. geet big american fridge freezer delivered to the kitchen and every door and various other parts moved upstairs. wonderful. always find your vids have something to offer or words of advice which are always good
Hi Paul🖐Sounds like a right pain in the backside mate😵💫 I guess we've all experienced jobs like these😔 Nice to hear from you fella, and hope you have a good 2025🤞Cheers
Excellent looking job Del despite all the problems in the beginning, happy Christmas and New Year to you and your family and I will be looking forward to seeing you back in 2025. 👌👌👌👌
Good looking kitchen. Pretty nice house. Have a great Christmas. I still think of it as cold, even though I am generally sweltering these days. Currently building a huge covered deck. The heat has been killing us. It will be nice to have a break over Christmas. You can sit in the warm. I can sit in the cold. Bliss !
Yes it is Carl👍It's been sat finished for months but been unable to sell due to a few planning conditions being released😵💫Hope your well mate and fully functional🤩
Like the look of that Blum jig but for the price I think I’ll have to stick with my Kreg one for now, it does the job. Been thinking about getting a door/drawer handle jig but not sure which I’d go for, possibly the Trend one? Thanks for all this year’s videos, sounds like there’s an interesting mix ahead, then perhaps another kitchen?? All the best!
Hi Iain🖐As with most things, there is a varying quality of tools available at varying prices, but that's not to say the cheaper ones won't do the job👍Thanks for your comment and following the channel🤩Cheers
Well that's what they call a cecil b demille "epic"...at least its done ...off the list onto the next one....don't mind what you film...the content is always great...have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year....just incase you don't post another one this year
Hi Arthur🖐Yeah, this was one of those jobs that just 'sat' there waiting for the home to be sold and me to find the time to get back and catch those last few bits up😶Have a great Christmas and 2025👍
That is a lovely kitchen and very well fitted del, couple of things I’m noticing the plinth skirting being the first, it really finishes the bottom off nicely but what is not showing up on the video very clearly, has the worktop got a bigger then normal overhang to allow for the lack of kick space ? Secondly was it the Clients idea not to have the handles next to each other on the doors above the ovens that you changed ? And that hole jig very good and very bad at the same time, shame on Blum no hole for clearing the shavings and the body completely covering your C/L line so you have to double check just to make sure.
Hi Jim🖐Great to have you watching🤩The client is a builder so perhaps not as picky as a domestic customer. The worktop has no additional overhang to accommodate the protruding plinth, and I wouldn't have had those two doors above the cookers hanging the same way, as as you pointed out, it looks odd😶Despite the jigs few shortcomings, it's still a treat to use😎Cheers
Hi there🖐It's been a really odd year, with family struggles, heath concerns and job difficulties all getting in the way of making videos😬Hopefully things will get a little back to normal in 2025🤞Thanks for watching 😎 Cheers Del
Love how honest you are about everything, even showing mistakes in previous videos. Doing them skirting plinths can be very time-consuming, but defo look good on the right kitchen. Are you allowed to say the brand kitchen you use or prefer ? I found recently the big brand being with H is really falling behind with its design/styles. Even the manufacturering is poor. Great videos as always 👍
Hi Alistair🖐Unfortunately, the pressures and ups and downs of life that affect us all, seem to have been fairly dominant fir me this year, together with doing jobs that I just can't video😬Hopefully 2025 will be a bit more normal🤞Thanks for asking bud🙏Cheers Del
The BLUM ecodrill is the original & great bit of kit, but at over £200 now it's series pricey. I got the Enjoywood hig off Banggood at about £36 for the latest version & it's really high build quality & very accurate. Well it may have taken a few months to fully finish but the kitchen is looking lovely.
Del please keep doing the kitchen videos, each one is unique and has something to offer.
Will do👍Appreciate your comment and thanks for watching 😎 Cheers Del

Doug, that’s me too, get involved with other people’s diy all the time. Sometimes wish that I hadn’t 😂😂😂

Del, I thought you had been kidnapped by aliens 👽 😂.
Alas, no alien abduction for me😔 and the inevitable probing that would have come with it😂
I want one of those hole jigs for Christmas 😂😂😂
You and me both Jim🤞🤞

I'm guessing the door is MDF?
Hi these🖐These doors are actually hardwood and very expensive😬Cheers Del
is it me or fitting an oven next to a fridge is not a good idea?
I think it might be you🤓 Both appliances are very efficient so don't really effect watching other👍Thanks for watching 😎 Cheers

No hob extractor?
Hi Chris🖐In one of the earlier videos I mention the powerful online fan mounted in the ceiling which socks through 2 ceiling mounted vents👍Cheers Del
Ah yes I remember now. Thanks for vids, have used a lot of the scribing and other tips to diy fit my own kitchen this year.
🤘😎🤘🫖☕️🍪🎥👍👍
Thanks for watching Wayne🇬🇧🤩

Hi there🖐I know the jig is expensive, and fortunately I borrowed it as I'm way to tight to buy one😬 Thanks for watching 😎 Cheers
The colour and kick detail are out of fashion now. You'll have to replace it.
Hi there🖐Beauty is in the eye of the beholder as they say😶and I certainly won't be the guy changing it 😉 Thanks for watching 😎
