Am I crazy or is a minor only white keys, i.e. the relative minor to C major? Then later he says it's all white keys. Why'd he say G# is in key in the beginning? Also ctrl + D is better for deselecting. Ctrl L doesn't shorten notes it makes them reach the next note. Shift D shortens the notes to the smallest grid in the grid selected. Going a half step in key doesn't create dissonance, every key has two half step intervals in it. It does create tension but that's not what dissonance inherently is
@@michaelsalinas6549 Yeah when A is all the white notes it is the Aeolian scale (natural minor) but when you add the G# (sharpened 7th) it becomes the harmonic scale. Theres also melodic minor scales but we don't need to talk about that.
A Minor is enharmonic to C Major, and I didn’t want to confuse anyone LISTENING to the A natural minor scale and think that it’s the same as C Major VISUALLY because it’s all white notes which would confuse them a little bit. That’s why I mentioned G# because G# is not in C Major but it is in the A harmonic minor scale which is the leading tone. Y’all need to remember that I’m not teaching musicians or those who already understand theory, I’m teaching this for producers that don’t know nor want to take the time out for music theory classes because if that’s the case, then they can sign up for my patreon. But I’m not teaching y’all something that I haven’t went to college for..
yeah, keep up doing this great content and inspiring people to produce. i didn‘t mean to front u with that and you are absolutely right. i really love team producergrind🙏♥️ and i’m always happy when u bring out a new video.

A natural minor has no sharps or flats. The other minor 2 minor scales are A Melodic & Harmonic Minor, and yes those other 2 minor scales do have flats and sharps.
Practice, practice, practice... it's all it takes.

adding g# makes it a harmonic minor or sum shit like that

Who ever disliked this video is goofy
bro u got hook and verse reversed, or is it just me??
If it’s a big issue for the Artist, then the Engineer could easily rearrange it during the session, but sometimes the artist starts off with a verse..
A minor has no sharp notes. A major has 1 sharp note. G#.
Dude. A minor has no sharps or flats.

Same melodies, drum patterns, over and over.
