Kazuma's sword name is basically a dirty sounding joke, made to sound like "chin chin" which we all know what it means in Japanese. Technically it means chirp-chirp as in bird noises, but it's a troll just like the show 'Gintama' is made to sound like 'kintama' even though it has (technically) another meaning.
And Maru is basically a generic part of names you give to objects. It's almost like something Doofenshmirtz would make, the "Chirp-Chirpinator", except it doubles as a dick joke because it sounds like Chin-chin
Megumin uses explosion magic that is more than what her mana amount is. That's why she keeps collapsing after every spell, and why she needs a whole day to recover. Basically the reason why even if she wants to use other spells no matter how small, she would sacrifice using explosion magic for that day as well.
Plus she could level up her max to be able to wistand the effect of not needing to passout like wiz, but then that would take away from leveling up it power too

I like how Megumin chews down her asparagus like how the sword was shortened. I also love how when dealing with Eros and saying how Eros is the main heroine he’s been looking for that he basically thinks he has a chance with a goddess
Megumin scribbling Excalibur was definitely derogatory as giving something a Crimson Demon name is a sign of affection by her culture's standards. Also the episode preview shows that Yunyun can be just as petty as Megumin and in a way they're polar opposites: it's simply whether the sweetness or cattiness is the hidden side of their character.
Darkness was in sheer panic. She had seen Kazuma in his full glory in the bath, but despite being a pevert having the craziest fantasies, she is absolutely prude and still freaks out seeing too much of a mans skin.
Irl katanas are pretty impractical so the main weapon of the samurai was actually the wakizashi a shorter version of the katana comparable to a European short sword
