    To clarify, when I say kitbash in this video I'm not necessarily refering to "Kitbash 3D" specifically. I'm simply referring to any premade assets which you use from wherever. Sorry if that wasn't clear.

    Thank you for taking time to make this and other videos. It is especially appreciated the fact that you freely talk about your workflow as opposed to simply making a timelapse of your latest artwork! I only hope you make more of them while successfully growing both as instructor/teacher and as an artist/modeler.

    Damn that's nice, btw if you need a quick fix for the audio to remove the background noise, you can record a couple of seconds of audio before start talking, when you're done you just drop it in audition or a similar program, select the first "noise section" and use the noise removal function based on the selection

    Max, hi, you're doing amazing analysis on your work! Thank you for that, keep up the good work, I'm looking forward to your next issue. On my own behalf, I would like to ask you to do a detailed analysis on your project "NEBULA (Loop)", I would be insanely grateful to you! Thank you, have a good mood!

    Nice. Thank you.
    If possible, I would be grateful for a tutorial covering render settings for best quality output: render size, samples, light paths, other.... That would be super useful
    Thanks, Max

    I understand the pros of using kitbash sets especially for envir art. But, Jesus, most of the times those kitbash packs come so unoptimized and not blender library friendly so you have manually create your own library assets which takes some time (E.G. kitbash3d - great quality assets - poor optimization options - no 1k texture resolution or lower, very heavy scenes that take ages to load much less use in real-time. For the prices they ask they could’ve done a better job)

    • @deepanshhh
      @deepanshhh 2 роки тому +2

      So true. The whole .blend file was so heavy so unoptimized to work with. I had to select each collection and export as a gltf + separate textures. Because it turns out we cannot save empty in asset browser

    • @vijaykumhar6197
      @vijaykumhar6197 2 роки тому +3

      That's true. When I use kitbas models and after setup in scene. The Blender simply shows " out of GPU memory"

    • @justalex4214
      @justalex4214 2 роки тому +3

      It's not just that, many sets are also quite unorganized. In some cases just seperating and grouping the single pieces together into a usable state takes longer than just modeling the thing you need yourself.

    Could you please show us how you get your blende set up like that? I’m so confused and I can’t seem to get the same set up. It looks very organized and easy to work with compared to what the standard one looks like.

    When are you going to take a course teaching how to build a scenario like this for us.
    A good example of this is putting together a project for a scene so that we can texture, light, apply effects and render without modeling anything, just using the assets provided by you.
    What do you think.
    It has the Udemy platform among others.
    What do you think?

    Hey Max, love your work! I got a small question about KitBash3D, whenever I save the models then try to edit one of them, I can’t. It’s in a collection and when I separate it it leaves me only with an empty.. how do I fix that?

    A curious question: if you link assets as opposed to append (reuse data), you could have unlimited number of objects/polys in the scene?

    9:00 each asset indv blend file, put it into asset browser folder, then asset browser acts as quick preview and only opens models as needed = not slow

    Kit bashing with other people assets, most of the times will produce bad results, because details dont match between different authors. You end up with a scene where some assets are extremly high poly and detailed and others have much less detail. The result most of the times is not great.
