- Mahel Antonio worked as a domestic helper in Hong Kong for five years before moving to Canada as a caregiver. She eventually found her way to becoming a financial adviser, and now senior vice president of her organization.
In this episode, she shares her struggles a single parent forced to temporarily leave her kids to find a better future for all of them.

I have pretty much the same story work as domestic helper in hongkong for 4 years moved here in Calgary Alberta as a domestic become a single mom and manage to send my son in medical school married a doctor , so blessed that now living with them here in Vancouver joining church organization doing volunteer work that makes be busy .

Once you move to the other counter everybody has a different struggle not only her but every body..especially if you are in a program as a caregiver, but actually it's a good program, that time you can prepare before your family come here in canada.

Yes, it was a very misleading comment. Every two year contract the DH has to fly back to the Philippines for two weeks for renewal of Work Visa and the Employer has to pay for her plane ticket so I don't know why the Lady said she had to save for her plane ticket.

Buti Mahusay magdala si Ina Andolong ng Interview. Hindi ni Ate. Na explain yung 4 full time jobs. Kase impossible yun. In 7 days there are only 168 hours if she works 4 full time x 40 hours that’s 160 hours. Does that mean 8 hours lang tulog nya in 7days? Paano yung travel time, ligo kain?
Ang gusto kase palabasin ng guest is better to switch to the business that she wants to offer. And wag magpakAhirap bilang emplyado. Buti na- manage ni Ina na di madetalye yun. Mintik na!
