Does anyone happen to know about if there are led lights in the mirrored room with the yellow pumpkins and if there are, where these are installed, inside the pumpkins? The pumpkins are so bright and full of light...And how large is that room?It seems huge...unfortunately I had not the opportunity to see it from close and I am impressed about the atmosphere of these mirrored rooms even through videos...
It was such a cool room! it was maybe 5 feet to the wall on each side. I would think they are illuminate from the inside (like you said) after seeing them. Thank you for watching!
Thank you for posting this! We will be in the D.C. area on March 16 and I was looking forward to going and waited patiently online to get tickets at noon but they were literally gone in seconds. So bummed. I appreciate you posting this so I can at least see what they were like !
They do passes everyday if you line up at the Hirshhorn! (You can line up at 9:30 and they go out at 10) So if you're in town might be worth doing! But thank you glad you enjoyed the video! :)
I have a question suppose you had a room of mirrors but with no exit everything was mirrors including the floor and their was no light inside but you shine a flashlight what would happen when you turned it off
When you turn off the flashlight it’s instantly turn off in the room (it’s bounce millions of times but it’d be so fast you wouldn’t be able to visibly see) I’m sure there are some UA-cam videos that do this experiment.
I def might! Might go on my own just to get a feel for what's what and then try to find someone to help me take photos another time. I'm sad that the memberships are sold out now, too. :'(
Wow! 2 hours?! I got tickets for next week! I'm looking forward to it, but now I'm scared of the waiting time. I'm coming all the way from New York to see this exhibit too ~_~;;... I called info desk, and she said it was 30 seconds per room though. Is 30 seconds even enough to take photos...?
While I appreciate this video, I am sad that you decided to post a video of this amazing artist by introducing her not fully knowing how to pronounce her name - or forgetting her name, I'm not sure what happened there. It's not that difficult to pronounce and while you may not have meant it in this way it seems pretty racist to then laugh at your attempt to say a world famous artist's name. You don't owe me anything, but artists like her deserve respect, and she is owed at least a correct name, especially given that she has provided you with amazing content for this video. Thanks for understanding.
An embarrasing act of ignorance on the part of the author. As they say, "for some, the limits of the world equal the limits of their sight". A cup of coffee as the primary experience of the exhibition.

By far my favorite exhibit that has ever come to DC! TO thankful to have been able to visit.
I wonder if she would like WiredCore? Because that’s one of my favorite art style
LOVE YAYOI kUSAMA. I did a paper on her while earning my undergraduate B.F.A. and Im so inspired.

How long was the wait time to get into the Infinity Mirrors?
This was a press event so none! I've had friends who waited 2 hours and they had tickets, then only got 10 seconds in each room.

What kind of camera do you use? Which settings? Your footage looks amazing, even in lowlight!

Dude this one broke the internet
Watching this during a pandemic gives me anxiety. A lot of people, not wearing masks and not social-distancing
Oh shut up!!! What does that have to do about this amazingly beautiful video? Just enjoy the art and shut the F up!
