Bolas, also called boleadoras, are traditional gaucho nonlethal weapons that capture targets by wrapping around their legs. These bolas use solid steel balls connected to chain or durable paracord. The bolas can also deal some serious damage to human flesh and bone when thrown hard enough (kind of like a meteor hammer).
