This entire demo was just a whole sitcom and i’m all about it. The boys meeting to play cards and betting on if their buddy Alhaitham can actually beat someone’s ass is hilarious 😂
I’ll be honest when he looks at him(Alhaitham at Kaveh) I personally think he looks like mad, not too mad but like the usual indifferent/annoyed look of “oh what is he saying now?” And I also personally believe yes Alhaitham is a cheeky bastard that loves to get Kaveh upset which he succeeds at doing every time they even glance at each other 😂
I wanna see Kaveh as a playable character or at least a fight scene. Because HES TOO FUDGING PRETTY AND I WILL WAIT MONTHS TO SAVE FOR HIM- Ahem.. but so far I would like to think Cyno is still stronger than him lore wise if not gameplay wise … anyway hurry up and release Kaveh I will become a spender if needed just let him out from the waiting list of npc to playable characters PLEEEEEEASE 😂😅

He 'dual wields' (only in animation), he kicks the sword, and look at those arms! I'm so happy to see the boys hanging around. Haven't been hyped for a character for a long time and his Character Demo definitely stands out for me and one to remember (from the music, the cameo characters, and just the vibe). The video itself is so fun to rewatch. ^^

This demo was genuinely shocking with just how FUN it is??!! I admit that I wasn’t very interested in Alhaitham at all, but with this demo I’m at least now thinking he’s actually pretty cool, even if I won’t be pulling for him (alas, F2P and no primos 😔😔😔)! The boys’ night out is really cute and I adore that we get to see more character interactions beyond the Traveler, and of course the MUSIC. THE MUSIC. It’s going on my workout playlist because oh my GOODNESS IT’S SUCH A BOP. 🖤🖤🖤🖤
Edit: Felt the need to update this, but I managed to pull him. Won the 50/50 at 34 pity. Guess he heard about my indifference and said “lemme change your mind”! 😂💚
Also, feeling like Cyno and Alhaitham are actually pretty neck-and-neck in terms of strength!

I love this demo, it's one of my fav. Kaveh(with all his lines), Tighnari (his sassy attitude), and Cyno (who even saying joke about cards while having tcg cards on table).
And... And Alhaitham... man... Kyaaaaaa ! He was so cool! And his gameplay and his dialogues!!! (You don't know how much I screamed like a fangirl)

All I wish now was they should add more character model type and animation pack (I could count in my fingers of how limited their poses are) for every characters and NPCs interaction within the quest or story like instead a fade to black screen with text, put an animation for em whenever they eat or drink with other characters and for other scenes they could put a splash art like what they did with Sabzerus Festival Arc. I'm not complaining, I'm just suggesting styles from other games like Xenoblade for more immersive story telling.

The amount of sass that Kaveh brings is impeccable, slandering him with the whole 'feeble scholar' out the gate, easily comparable to Tighnari's 'done with your bs' attitude. This demo has to be one of my favorites.
Between Cyno and Alhaitham...I think they are evenly matched. Which is saying a lot, considering Cyno's job includes fighting while Alhaitham is just The Scribe™️.
Cyno has the strength and combat experience, but Alhaitham also knows about him due to the files from the Akasha... I hope we get another duel in the future.

If it’s a couple fight, Tighnari and Cyno for sure. One of the best elemental reactions tag team? You can’t beat that. They’re probably also super in synch. Who knows when Kaveh will complain about something, or Alhaitham to make on off-handed comment about a bad move that gets him riled, lol.
Also Tighnari has the confusion bomb advantage. (Though I wouldn't be surprised to find out that Alhaitham, like, taught himself to not breathe for prolonged periods of time for the sake of diversifying his skillset.)
