Soak the tomato root in water before planting. The root supplies the plant with water and hydrates it. A trick for gardeners is to add a spoonful of sugar to that water. The plants will quickly revive and be ready for planting. Another important tip when planting tomatoes is to plant them deep.

Commercialy produced 13-13-13 granular fertilizer works great. I give each plant a teaspoon of pickling lime and a teaspoon of epsom salts each weak, and a teaspoon of miracle grow also.

They look way too close together.
They are way too close together. A rookie mistake that after the first or second time you don’t do it again you learn your lesson or it’s just one big mess possibly some kind of dwarf plant that they should’ve mentioned they seem to be experienced gardeners but who knows Maybe they plan to just continually trim it into a ball shape
Not at all if you really stay on top of pruning…. But you have to in order to maintain good airflow and stave off leave disease problems.
