Adding this down here too: DISCLAIMER - I had A LOT of video quality issues during this playthrough SO THERE WILL BE A GAP IN GAMEPLAY BETWEEN STREAM SESSIONS 3 AND 15! I downloaded first few streams then didn't bother to download when the quality issues were REALLY bad as I figured I wouldn't upload to UA-cam anyways... but started to download again once issues started to be resolved. Folks have asked for this gameplay anyway so here is what I actually had - If it's too rough to watch I TOTALLY understand and you should be on the lookout for my more recent playthroughs coming soon!
I have played through this game 4 times just before Forbidden West came out and once just after Zero Dawn came out. This is not just a game, it is the experience of a lifetime! I wish I could erase this game from my memory just so that I can experience it again for the first time, that I why I am watching other ppl play it to see their reactions and kind of re-live that first time feeling. I think I've seen about 3 ppl do a complete playthrough and started about 5 others that didn't react enough to my liking. You on the other hand had the best reaction in the opening credits! I subscribed right after, gonna watch you play through the whole story! Can't wait to see how you enjoy this! 😁👍
@1:46:53 Good plan. I like it. @1:48:40 I just recently started a new game in Ultra Hard mode for the first time and boy does this take a lot of patience in ultra hard mode. @2:17:58 Man this quest was really hard on ultra hard mode. @2:30:30 Yeah, That right most branch of the Forager skill tree becomes more and more import at higher and higher difficulty settings. At Ultra hard it takes so many more arrows to kill each machine you really need that whole branch filled out to keep in stock on metal shards to make arrows with. @3:55:38 Yes, the sound of the rain drowns out the sound of your foot steps making you harder to detect so rain is good for stealth. @4:02:53 The sharpshot bow does take longer to reach full draw but that becomes a non-issue when you get the hang of not being detected. When your undetected you have all the time in the world to pull that bow string all the way back and do a lot more damage with fewer arrows. It's my go to bow. @4:33:58 Oh dear, did you forget why he wanted you to make fire arrows?
Just came acoss this, I find it a bit funny how every time a yellow or red alert machine is around Ray just completely goes into panic mode XD She completely forgot everything that the tutorial told her about looking for weak points with the focus and going for stealth kills rather than laying into the armor. But its a learning progress for everyone on their own speed, maybe ray will achieve some cool under pressure soon :) Love the reactions though, they make me smile and giggle. Best of luck on your journey (even if I am late to the party)
At the start of this video you broke out in tears and said sorry you have nothing to be sorry the writing and story line of this game is one of the best stories i have ever seen.
Don't be afraid to try things. Hit smaller machines with heavy strikes and they will die instantly. Approach hovering logs with a sprint, Aloy will jump automatically on those. Sprint instead of rolling. This game rewards you for being bold. You are holding yourself back, young padawan ;)
oh bro u gotta keep this series going this is literally my fav game so far and ill be buying the 2022 horizon forbidden west the horizon zero dawn sequel u gotta check it out 1ce its released
I love this game so much & I loved seeing you play it. You’re my favorito gamer 💕 I know I found your twitch channel when you were more than half way through this game so I decided to rewatching it from the start & I honestly loved seeing your first play through. See you on twitch 😁👋
Hahaha see you soon Liz!! And yes, kicking myself for not recording this playthrough... lesson learned because I want to go back and relive the whole thing ❤
Love your gameplay. I'm still in my first HZD gameplay for PS4. I'm heading to Gaia Prime, but afraid to face stalkers, ravagers and a stormbird that are way ahead. Love, love this game! Love the way you react to the scenes so spontaneously. You practicaly get truly involved to the game. Adriana from Brazil.
Using a controller is much easier. Aiming with the controller takes more patience and concentration but I am used to it. Pro tip: the concentration skill and the other one that slows down time in a jump or slide, definitely useful for controller… But I haven’t played much of this game on PC because I’m just not a PC gamer, by default I play on Consol because controllers are easier to use for someone who hated keyboarding in school
Yeah they said they still going to release it on PS4 because getting PS5 is very hard in some countries and not a lot of PS5 consoles was released so they decided to release it on PS4 as well.
Hi Ray, I like to watch your reactions through gameplays. And you play smart/with your brain that I also like too. Basicly I am a PC gamer but I hate if my character can't walk - like in Mad max. That is why I started to use controller because in this way I can control fine the speed of my character's movement. Note: In the Hidden and Dangerous 2 we could control the movements by mouse roller very fine around 4 phases of speed. Who can roam a whole map by run? So I usually walk and just in a certain situation run only. I've played through this game on ps4 pro 3th times until yet. Bye
In my opinion AC origin and Odessey are similar just on the surface. I've played both and Odessey is much better for me - so there has to be differences (play mechanic, elements, so on). If you think to play one of them I suggest Odessey. More, if we see the viking story as well, Odessey still is the best (considering not just story and surrounding but bugs, details, etc.).
Usually I turn off the backgroud music in every game in this way I can hear the noises of surrounding more and the game become more realistic and immersive - can you hear music when you walk in a forest?
The music is beautifully composed & tailored to match the tribes, landscape, & machines of the area Aloy is in. They combine traditional tribal instruments with HoriZDawn machine sounds that really set the mood and story of HoriZDawn (the fact that these tribes have learned to not only live off the land, but use machine parts for various practices & rituals). The developers also allow small moments between the loop of each song so you can hear the environment and other sounds clearly; therefore, I recommend that Ray leaves the music on so she and the viewers who haven't played the game yet can get the full experience of the game. That's probably why most if not all streamers & UA-cam gamers leave the music on while playing games.

:) wanted to watch your first reactions to the proving. or did you get there yet?
If there's ever a game that I'd want to see as a well-made, live action movie/series, it'd be this one. Easily my favorite story-driven game
one of my favorites if not my favorite. For me its either The Last of Us 1 or this
The story would also work incredibly well for film, in my opinion
oh my gosh I totally agree!! This would be fantastic is made into live action!
@@RaylynneGames Did you hear netflix is making a tv show about this game?

It still blows my mind that Aloy is also Tina Tiny [Borderlands Series] voiced by Ashly Burch.
Oh you are in for a treat. This is one of my favorite games.

Just saw the first upload of the first part a few days ago. Hope to see you enjoy the rest.

Pay attention to bottom right of the screen to see the second skill row needs 2 points per skill 😂
1:12:30 That's why I love my MMO mouse (corsair scimitar pro), even though I don't play MMO's.
Love this game! It should be it's own film. Horizon Forbidden West is the next one coming out.
Hi RayeatsCookies. Raymond here..
Ever though about starting reaction to anime or live shows.. anime movies or live movies.
Greetings
Raymond.
I fucking love this game. I've been avoiding finishing it because I don't want it to end until the second one is almost out. lol
I feel this!! Luckily I was late to the party anyways so I didn't have to wait too long!
Just play the game and I dam sure getting the second one two best game ever

Did no one on the streams recommend the stealth approach? Makes the early missions against machines way easier
At this pace it's gonna take you a year to finish the game.
