Raleigh Grand Mesa Restomod Is Finsihed!

  • The vintage Raleigh Grand Mesa Restomod gravel grinder build is finished. Ended up using Teravail Cannonball 650bx40 tires because of limited tire clearance in the rear for the 650bx48 and upgrading it to a 2x9 drivetrain. Bike turned out great.

      ​@@GringineerCycles How did you get the spacing on the hub for the rear wheel to work? I believe the rear spacing is 120mm which wouldn't match a wheel that can hold a 9 speed freewheel.

      @@geoffreyhenderson4774 I used a road hub with 130mm spacing, and spread the frame out. I cant remember if it started out 120 or 126.

    Just replace the allen bolts with a lower profile bolt so the shifters clear.
