It’s great that you have finally done something like this. However as someone who works in major promotions etc my suggestions would be you need the drivers to be unfiltered, let them speak their mind and ensure they understand there will be no consequences no matter what they say ( obviously relating to the sport etc) and a minimum of an hour per episode would be better.

Loved the podcast, 18 to 22 rounds over summer, and Phillip Island, Winton, back please.
I would extend the season by adding races in Phillip Island, Newcastle, Calder Park, Oran Park, Tailem Bend, Queensland Raceway, Canberra, Wellington and Port Moresby, and add also Winton as per your suggestion - all of that gives you ten more rounds, and the Championship would be across all states and territories, with two races in New Zealand and one in Papua New Guinea.
However, while I feel it has merit, a Summer Series would have serious problems with team/driver and track availablity, fan interest, higher financial costs and logistical issues: as such, I would have the extended season and create a Women's Supercars Championship, and have a Combined Team Championship as well.
In my opinion, the extended season and the Women's Championship (with the Combined Team Championship) would not only be terrific value for sponsors, broadcasters, and fans, but this setup would cost less and have a far higher upside than running a Summer Series.

Great podcast to listen to the lads with them having no visible restrictions in how they comment is quite refreshing.
Must say this could also step back in time and bring some of the now retired drivers back to talk as freely as they will have some interesting stories I am certain ….
Ryan is on the money less qualifying and more racing with mixed formats. I've become a fan of young Ryan

Well done again supercars for impersonating that you are transparent and at ease with letting the drivers be unrestricted and able to say what they want.... I switched it off at 2.54 afler Reynolds said that he will "pipe down".. I'd say that you've again missed the "MARK"(btw I wish I could say this about the commentary).
They have independent podcasts Reynolds has had controversy he can't talk about or maybes too colourful language...
@@gerardcrabb4556 yeah I get that but don't put out a fake podcast implying that it's drivers only when it's restricted by supercars.
Think you will find even Apex Hunters is controlled host was not allowed with Adderton and Brown... Depends if it was content or language...
This needs to be an hr long at least with the gaps between races.. I just pray it doesn't get too sensitised.

What if the winner of Saturdays race was awarded pole for Sundays race and qually was for 2nd to 10th ?
Almost no different, winner should draw a start position from a hat.

Supercars played up Brodies return then 888 protest a flash of lights...
I like Ryan wood, he will get a good fan base. To get more heroes and villains, relax the on track penalties and make it more self policed. Why not race at Calder park, wakefield park and even lakeside, they could do 2 day meetings there that are short sharp and spectacular.

The old 90s progressive style grid orders worked great.
Quali and Top ten... Race 1 finish sets Race 2 start... Race 2 sets race 3 and so on... Last race for the weekend winner wins the round.

Love Reynolds but how does randle and wood get a crack. Both will never achieve much in Supercars
Randle has speed when he has a good car. Do you remember The Bend last year? Doesn't help that since Gen 3 was introduced, the fords haven't been equal to the Chevy's, and I have statistics to prove that. Ford have only won 8 out of the 40 Gen 3 races (and really it should be 7, Shane's 2023 win in Newcastle should have counted). Ryan wood on the other hand is only a rookie. Despite this, he was fast in Super2 and has almost got on the podium twice this year.
