Tina left Ike in a blaze of glory with this performance! Absolutely relentless and totally electrifying! This time period with Ike (1974-1976) she had this glow, maturing into [what would be] an independent woman. Tina intensified her prowess with this sexualized yet sophisticated slim-fit wardrobe. Also, there was that sense of living legend status with crowds as The Ike & Tina Turner Revue were now true international headliners and hitmakers.
I think she looks so pretty here with the hoop earrings and the hotpants and the boots. She looks happy and so spirited too. Love It! Also this was the period where she began to really notice her true value and talent and her confidence was through the roof and it shows.
I was glues to the television when this aired, and surprised to see Tina wearing earrings, because I never had seen her wear any before this performance.
I believe this is the last tv appearance of Tina with Ike, The bit at the end where she dances in smoke is simply a star rolling away from hell which was Ike. You can see her confidence i shining bright. Great Performance.
My God, I love this woman so much. She's a force of nature. I met her and Ike (and Tina's sister, Ailene, and Ike's father, Rufus) back in 1973 in Memphis... everyone was so nice and gracious. She is one of the most beautiful women I've ever met. One of my favorite memories.
@@hellochannel6344 Right? I'm almost certain his biological father died when he was still a young boy (either after being attacked or an apparent accident) and his mother died sometime between then and their first tour with the Stones (his autobiography mentions that she had passed prior to him trying to find his birth certificate in order to apply for a passport--and that his name on the certificate isn't Izear Luster but Ike Wister). Then again, there's also a chance his stories are mostly bull$#¡t🤣
tinasfan1010 The Stovall Sisters : Rejoyce Moss, Lillian Jackson and Nettie Stovall . They were Ikettes in the 1970s. They now are senior citizens working at the Center for Elder Independence at Eastmont Mall in Oakland, California. They have videos on UA-cam under the Stovall Sisters...

This is the first time that I’ve seen this video I love it TINA is by far my favorite singer but this video she and the ikettes they really rock the house here I have watched it over and over again Tina Turner was a very talented person when it came to the dancing she was always on point and so were the ikettes I am so glad I found this
My friend Ron got free tickets from his older brother to several Don Kirshner's Rock Concert shows at the Aquarius Theatre on Sunset Blvd near Vine in Hollywood back in the mid 70s. I used to always go with him and we saw this concert with Ike and Tina Turner. We also saw there The Average White Band and Rufus with Chaka Khan to name a few. Part of my memories growing up in the Los Angeles area.
Fantastic footage of the fabulous TINA - the greatest performer and singer in the world. However that watermark placed on the film i horrible.....please take it off and repost :-)
Great performance. I think Tina was at her best as a performer with The Ike & Tina Turner Revue. Maybe it's the combo of the Ikettes and the funky band but I like the soulful sexy grit of her performances with Ike.
Or maybe it was the threat of getting her ass beat if she didn’t perform with precision. Yes the art was her own but knowing that there would be consequences if she didn’t perform well was partly why she performed so well

Crazy 3 months later she escaped Ike her performance here was as if she knew she was about to leave her stage personality really shows here and even more in her solo performances
Oh My God! That pace is insane. Tina could really DANCE (and sing at the same time). Wonderful.
Close to the last hurrah for the ol Ike and Tina Revue in 1976.

This is the most confident I’ve ever seen of her performances. She is fully into her own and it shows. You can see it and feel her freedom
Tina Turner was and is an absolute beast on stage. Just incredible the way she sings, dances, and commands an audience. True artistry and star power.

Woman got fed up
This really was the end 76 i was surprised seeing the title

Love it, love it, love it. More, more more.
Outstanding performer there will be a long time passing before anybody take her crown
Tony roberts No one can take her crown! There's no other artist that can compete with her.
Always dressed years ahead of her time
Looks like she fits 1976. Nothing ahead of her time.
HEROES:)!
I THINK IKE & TINA TURNER MADE 2 APPEARANCES ON ROCK CONCERT - ARE THOSE CONCERTS AVAILABLE ON DVD ANYWHERE FOR SALE. ANYONE KNOWS ?
