Foolproof Sourdough Bread

  • Sourdough Bread
    3 3/4 cups unbleached all purpose flour
    1 3/4 tsp salt
    Mix
    Add:
    1/3 cup sourdough starter
    1 1/2 cups warm water
    Mix till flour is all hydrated
    Cover and let rest.
    Every 20 minutes stretch and fold.
    Do this 4 times.
    After final stretch and fold, let rest in a warm place for 5 hours.
    After 5 hours, carefully turn the dough on a table. Shape Into a rectangle but be careful not to get rid of the air bubbles.
    Fold in thirds, then roll up into a ball.
    Place the dough into a lined bowl, sprinkled with flour. Cover and refrigerate 12 hours.
    Preheat a Dutch oven at 450 degrees Fahrenheit for 45 minutes. Score the bread with a sharp knife, give it a little must if water and bake for 30 min.
    Remove the lid and bake another 10-15 minutes. Enjoy!!!

      l don’t use grams, but I think you could try to convert lt to grams. 1 cup flour equals 120 grams. Hope this helps! :)
