YAY, so glad that you made it safe. I am old enough to be your mom, and I have been worried solid for both of you.I am glad that your border crossing went so well. I enjoy your videos so much. Safe travels, and I will continue to worry, but that is just what I do. You are both so adorable and such a cute couple!!
Funny enough our moms aren't worried they are glad we are living it up. I'm sure they worry and want us to be safe but they are very happy to see us breaking the norm.
Your trip of a life time has finally started, Are your friends staying with you the whole trip. I hope so, safety in numbers. I follow The Nomadic Movement as stated on a previous message. So worth the watch on their older vlogs before settling in Panama for tip & hints. Apart from that they are a fantastic couple. Their coffee is amazing. Have fun, stay mindful & safe. Cheers from Lynne Victoria Australia 🇦🇺🐨🐱😃💙🐕💙
Yesssss!!! No our friends are only doing Baja then we will be going solo to mainland. That is where the solo adventure begins. Yea we have watch Nomadic movement previously we don't watch much of there content anymore. Thank you for the lovely comment.
@@FnAVanLife It's gonna be awesome! Be sensible... We still watch em but we prefer traveling videos. BTW, itchy boots is making her way north through Mexico (in video, I think about a month behind real time) great stuff to see.
San Pedro Martir Parque Nacional is an hour south of Ensenada. Rancho Coyote is a fabulous oasis (with WiFi ) at kilometer 49 on the way up the mountain. Least known prettiest spot in Baja. Condors and coyotes. The rest of the peninsula is pretty well visited. This is different.
Check out UA-cam’s Curt&Snow, Drifter Journey and The nomadic movement are originally from Massachusetts have a farm in Panama and have their own a coffee making business!!
4:49, 2 countries passports, I mean I knew but still looks kind cool like that! You can see I dont get out much! Loved to see a video on what each of you would have to do to become a citizen and what your plans are?
Haha that's funny Steve! You're right though, we are so international 😆 I'm gonna look into what it would take to move here. We are in love with Mexico so far!!! 😍
exciting video as usual but you sure got yourselves in a tizz which was really funny. You should try entering the US at LAX that’s scary. Enjoy Mexico, I’m sure you will. Drive safely and take care xxx
Perfect time to get sponsored by an online language school and learn Spanish. Please be careful driving in Mexico, it's mental. Don't forget "con no hielo por favor" / "with no ice please" when you get drinks to avoid a dodgy tummy. Enjoy! 🥳
Watch out for the big speed bumps on the roads I follow a couple of other UA-camrs and they went over one doing 60 miles an hour it broke their bed and their table
Holy moly! Haha we've heard of these mysterious topas. Been over quite a few so far but none at that speed. Dang they were flying!! Lol thanks for the heads up!
Alright, another Baja advanture!!! Pizza as oppose to tacos for your first meal in Mexico, eh, it was a good zaaa!! How are The Wanderlust Couple doing, Hi Nick and Erica!!! Be careful while you are driving that no Polizia see you using them, many Vanlifers got pulled over for that... Staying tuned for the rest of your trip. Happy Trails to all four of you.
Thabk you for the heads up on the walkies. They are doing well lol as well as someone who has been on the road for 2 months. 🤣 We are having fun traveling together.
Hurrah!! You made it! That pizza looked delicious, but then so did the tacos! Absolutely reward for a job well done! 👍🏻 Alex I think you slept so well cause of all that nervous energy.. which I totally understand! Excited for you guys! ❤️
All the food, all the time!! Haha thanks so much Linda! You're probably right about the sleep. So much nerves, a bad sleep, and a long day! 😴 much needed!!! Sending lots of love! Xo
Very cool! Maybe by the time you're returning north, you'll be looking for rural roads instead of the cuota. I get why you stuck to that at first. Cheers!
@@FnAVanLife 😂 No doubt! You'll feel less so as you acclimate and assimilate to the culture and the language. Naturally it's most awkward at first with little exposure and knowledge but your confidence and competence will develop the more you dive in and put yourself out there. One prominent thing I remember from my early Spanish language and Latin culture journey is resist becoming embarrassed when making a fool of oneself. That's when you know you're on the way. And of course, always be humble. Just do your best and take every opportunity to speak with someone in Spanish and ask them about stuff. Anything. Clima, carretera, lo que sea. Doesn't matter if you think you already know the answer, the idea is to converse. And if they switch to English, ask how you'd say or ask some particular thing in Spanish. Hay que acostumbrarse a los sonidos además de aprender las palabras. I'm very comfortable in Latin America but of course that didn't happen overnight or by osmosis. It has to be very intentional and unrelenting. Poco a poco, pero cada día algo más.
So glad the border crossing was so easy for you. I would've been stressing too. That pizza looked way too delicious to be seeing before dinner here. 🤣😋 Right after that there seemed to be a girl walking down the road with a ton of balloons. 🤔 There was a ferris wheel nearby but it still seemed strange. 🤣 I could've brought an entire garden. 🤣 Looking forward to these adventures. Thanks for sharing them with us. 💖 -Troy & Aimee (deep cleaned the apt today. Ready to start moving stuff. 🤞)
I’m so glad you made it to Mexico safe and sound I hope you have a wonderful wonderful vacation can’t wait to watch your next video I think I heard you say at one point that you guys were from Michigan let me know if I’m correct because I’m from Michigan also I’m from Lincoln Park I don’t know how close or how far that is from where you’re from
Hey Kim! Our friends Nick and Erica are from Michigan so maybe they know the area! We are from NYC and Canada!! We've been to the UP breifly and snowboarded a few mountains there too. Loved it!! Xo
So did you have to get a special passport for Paco you know I mean he’s a Mexican Chihuahua all right so going into Mexico he could get like arrested for being an illegal immigrant right lol
Yeah he only has the ability to stay out the window up to 20 mph then he comes in. If I listened to all the things people say don't do, I wouldn't be traveling in a van I wouldn't be in Baja Mexico. So I will pay close attention whenever driving our home around. That is the key be aware all the time. 😁

Worrying never helps anyone, but nice messages of kind thoughts do. 😁🙏
Super - more memories to be made! Enjoy!!
Heck yeah you know it! 😊
Nice and fun content! Enjoy the Baja and take care, guys!!!!
Thank you we will enjoy.

Us border and Canadian border are two of the scariest borders in our opinion. Thanks for the love.
Congrats! Just enjoy now!!🎊🎉👍🏼
Thank you so much Patricat!!

Small step but the adventure is going to get way more epic.

We just reached out to one. Hopefully they won't to work together 😊. Thank you for the advice on the ice.

Hahah my people! I have returned!!!!

No problem. You can make videos like us, you just have to set goals and work hard towards them.
Love you guys and especially Paco. Thanks for taking me on a trip I probably will never make. Wow. Great!
Love you too Carrol!!! We are so happy to take this adventure for you ❤️✨️

Hey guys ,Buy a cheap printer trust me ,be safe
Great advice! We made so many copies last week that I think we are good for now but I'm sure we will run out or need something different!
Thank you we made 10 copies of everything before we left.
What is this about? What do u need to print ??
Rawr!
LOL!!
Does Paco speak Spanish?
Of course but he won't translate for us. Lol
Is there any vegan/plant-based vanlifer that actually *sticks* to their choice once they enter Mexico?? 🤔
haha hard to say! Still holding strong on vegetarian and really only this for the cheese. Time will tell!
So did you have to get a special passport for Paco you know I mean he’s a Mexican Chihuahua all right so going into Mexico he could get like arrested for being an illegal immigrant right lol
omg LOL no Paco didn't require any additional paperwork and they didn't even ask about his birth certificate, we were shocked! :P
You should not let Paco lean out the window, it is dangerous, any sudden impact and he goes flying out the window? What are you thinking? 😤 👎
