You never had to run that wire on the side I just figured it out they already have the connections underneath the hood go through the fire in order to connect your auxiliary they’re already prepped and everyone
As far as running through the firewall, i just tied the wires to a cable or anything you can use to pull it through from the inside of the cab. You may need to make slits in the grommet for the wires but it wont hurt nothing.
@@codystrain7657 yeah they are zip tied to the wiring harness under the dash next to the e break, and then if you look behind the fuse block on the driver side you will find them there
OMG watching someone run their wires that way is painful, I think I might need to make a video on how to run through grommets. I do this for a living and see people doing that crap ALL THE TIME.
@@Outlandersworld Exactly, I never thought this video would reach the number of views it actually got, I was just a silly kid making a video. Looking at the views now I shoulda made a proper wiring tutorial... Thanks for the kindness

Ford runs the wires through the firewall for you. There are 4 wire under the dash that go to the switches and 4 dead wires going through the firewall. No need to rig your shit up. just connect the powered wires to the dead wire and then under the hood attach wire you attached on the inside to you accessory. You do have to ground your accessory.
you think it's a 30 amp??? You think it's a 15 amp?? And you're trying to show someone else how to do something correctly? Don't quit your regular job.
He never said he was a professional and admitted it’s probably not the right way. Everyone has there own way. It’s probably not correct but it’s they’re way. If you think you could do a better job please feel free to post your own video.
Brandon'svlog Thank you man, appreciate it. funny enough after making the video i am now a level 2 mechanic and i have since rewired and did a proper job of the light bar!

Exactly what I did, just fish them thru...
Ford has wires already ran through the fire wall for you, you do not have to run wires like that you just have to tie onto existing wires!!!
Do you know the location that they put them?

@@codystrain7657 It can be a major pain. Even a friend that is so meticulous will shortcut shit to get it done.

Thank you for the info. Are the wires under the hood already hot or do you have to do anything to them first?

Hope you changed out them fuel filters by now too! Black smoke bro!🤪
What was the noise? It sounded horrific lol
Hahaha, I have been told its just fuel going through the fuel filters. I honestly have no clue, the truck is still running so that's a good sign! lol
What rims and tires where on the truck and where do I get them from
Black Iron 'tracker' for the rims, and Goodyear duratracs for the tires!
Delete your egr so you can get rid of that noise haha
The truck is fully deleted, cooler and all
Sloppy and lazy
😂 that’s an awful noise isn’t it
