Always a slow follower on some tools. I remember when they were pushing 14.4v instead of 18
Wood? And not just for concrete forms? Hilti is branching out :)
We are continuing to expand our Nuron platform and this does include more tools for wood applications. We do plan to have our SM 60-22 cordless miter saw available later this year.

why no riving knife?
This plunge saw has technology built within it that can recognize when the blade is stuck or jammed, and automatically shuts the tool off to prevent kick back. It stops the kickback danger, but still leaves slight damage/marks on the wood because of the blade suddenly coming to a stop.@@HiltiNorthAmerica no professional will say a riving knife is not necessary.
