"MARRYING FOR LOVE."

For this Bridgerton clip, I was getting varied emotions from the actors/situations as the scene progressed, and sometimes those various emotions existed simultaneously on screen in certain portions. So I felt the music had to reflect that simultaneous mix of emotions at certain points, as well as, to possibly even add to them through the tone changes in the music. Also, I wanted to bring out some emotions that weren't directly on screen, but that would be brought out through the music and then that would give extra dimension to the picture. Composing around and sometimes through the dialogue was a challenge, but also lots of fun! Always making sure to keep the dialogue as the focus, but having the music help move it forward.
