Why did it go down when she said "Personally I'm more of a Rock & Roll Fan", rock and metal is very popular in the nordic countries, all of them actually.
Of course! Plus ABBA's heyday was forty plus years ago, and as they've been a nostalgia fave forever, their music has been played to excess for at least two decades now.
@@moonlily1 Thus far most of those Swede natives I've seen interviewed for this series have admitted not being huge fans, so perhaps ABBA pride depends on age.

WHAT is the deal with wearing shoes inside the house? Don't these people drag in dirt and sand? I'm definitely too nordic to feel like that is marginally OK 😆
idk what the deal is?!? its disgusting.. people spill drinks, animals pee, people spit phlegm and or gum, even if your in california these things happen and then you bring it in your house. so gross.
I got it drummed into my head as a kid to always take your shoes off indoors. Living in Britain, it rains half the time and inevitably you often have wet, muddy shoes. Plus, the carpet doesn’t wear out as quick and wood flooring stays a nicer finish for longer!
Totally depends on who you are. As a swedish jazz head, I know people that are into fusion, folk music, classical music, schlager, and just about everything else. Even those swedish dansbands :D
@@herrbonk3635It still does not change the fact Netflix seem to have no effing clue on nordic cultures or societies. Making it less Nordic to say they are into rock n roll just shows that. cyberpunk jutsu it!s uncomfortable, some argue it’s unhygienic (but then, you shouldn’t lick the floor anyway), it’s good to let your shoes breath out the moisture. Walking on bare feet (socks/soft indoor shoes) is good for them, rather than be restricted by the usually less flexible soles of outdoor shoes.
Funny how being on time is considered to be Nordic. Some of us Americans living in Norway were just having this discussion and many of us think that at least Norwegians are very consistently late by at least 5 mins.
Im from SoCal and wearing shoes inside growing up and having my own house I never did. Now with roommates I wear flip flops because I dont feel comfortable being bare foot.
Wait ... Turning the cheese into a skislope gets you MORE Nordic-points!? All it ever got me was a lecture from my dad, haha. Woe to the fussy person who refuses to eat all parts of the cheese! ^^

as a trueblue Murican (but with Swedish Greatgranny) I officially approve of this. 2 Weeks in KBH in 2011 and I learned all I needed to about the potato-mouth.
Don't get why people have shoes on inside. If they change them to comfier slippers I might understand, but not if it's outside shoes.. it's just so nice to take the shoes off when you come home!
why did she become more nordic when she said she makes the ski slopes? These barometers are so random lol. 50% chance it will go up or down no matter what you answer.
OMG I never realised it till I saw your comment!she looked so different. For me she's always silk spectre even though I saw her before in Harold and Kumar.
@@ZakhadWOW I think that depends entirely on how you define that "spirit". Plus wtf, I have several friends up in Stockholm and not one of those fuckers ice skates or would be caught dead listening to fucking Abba.

I don't understand how she has no accent. I mean, it is not discernible to me that she is foreign born whatsoever. Whatever she and Charlize Theron did is how everyone should learn a foreign language because they sound American completely.
Both of them mostly grew up in Canada and America, respectively. Charlize has been mostly in the US since her teens while Malin virtually grew up all her life in Canada (from age 4)
Cbricklyne even if she would have grown up in Sweden she wouldn’t have an accent. We learn from an early age and everyone speaks at least 3 languages, most people sound american (or in some cases brittish)
I'm from Norway..... why is this shit just with swedish people.... the nordic is about more countries than the swedes. . Fuckin so misleading... its crap that you just focus on the swedes
Should get extra nordic points for having a capital Å in her name!

Here we have tiled floors and different shoes for inside that’s reasonable imo
And did you see those carpets, where are the wooden floors?
Omg she’s so pretty ❤️
1:33 This is a totail fail netflix. Rock is the definitive music in nordics

Her eyes are lovely.
I love how different the snapssång sounds compared to how Gustaf Skarsgård sang it, even though it's the same one lol
Sounded like twice the speed atleast 😅
She couldn't pronounce all the words correctly :(. Seems like she's no longer fluent in Swedish...
helenavis it was definitely pronounced correctly!
@@helenavis She did pronounce correctly.
What’s a snapsnag
The sleep over was hilarious! We need to hear from Alexander Skarsgaard on this one now.
**Skarsgård
Its weird that Malin Åkerman is that much nordic sence she only lived in Sweden until she was 2 and then moved to Canada
Failed to mention that she only lived there for 4 years and then went back to sweden ;-;
I love Malin but the Nordic meter, itself, was the star of this video, LOL.
The Sleepover turned out to be a really funny movie! Totally enjoyed it!
Seems like a very down to earth, super lady.
I became 57% Nordic just by looking at the thumbnail for this video.
She's a beautiful and gorgeous adorable angel Love malin akerman 😍😘

From age around 4 to adult she was raised in Canada.
I heard she went back and forth between the two countries.
Her Swedish is immaculate
I am not Nordic, but we NEVER wear shoes inside ever ever!!!

Well there is a saying in Swedish "Fint folk kommer alltid sent" Fine people always shows up late. So I don't get this one either.
You compare Norway with Sweden? Kidding me?
Malin is a beautiful and gorgeous adorable angel ever 😍😘
She looks like an angel lol! Her eyes 😍
Does not like ABBA because you're a "rock & roll" fan?! *All TRUE rock fans LOVE ABBA*
Not at all
Most death metal bands from Scandinavia, love ABBA
quilmesdave jeje thank you
Nah
samsabruskongen oh you DUMB dumb
Whoever marked her down for admitting that she is a rock'n'roll fan must be unfamiliar with the Hellacopters.
Im from SoCal and wearing shoes inside growing up and having my own house I never did. Now with roommates I wear flip flops because I dont feel comfortable being bare foot.
Best ever Silk Spectre
They forgot to give points to the "it is what it is" part
Wait.. it cant go down if she said she likes rock.. sweden, finland, denmark and norway are in top of most metal bands per capita

Well, it was "have you ever argued over it", so you get points, yes.
see, here in the states most cheese is packaged in blocks, and there's no rind. You have to go to the "fancy cheese counter/boutique" for that ;)
Michelle Phipper and Mallin are my favs

Helan går is like our Only known Snapsvisa it seems.
Halvan går is good too.
And if you don't make the connection to Laurel and Hardy, you lose all you nordic points.
Love the music to this
Why do these questions feel like they're be just as relevant in a "How Canadian Are you" test?
Because they are haha.
Corporate shallowness all the way!
She was raised in Canada from age 2-20, so it would fit as well.
Those eyes
I have outside shoes and moccasins for inside. Oh, I also loved you in The Sleepover. Did you do your own fighting or did you use a stunt double?🥰
So beautiful!
So saying she is a rock fan is making her less scandinavian in this video wtf? That should just rise it up more
if anyone of these people would ever mention Bathory as their fav band their nordic meter should just explode!
