Thanks for this, it was really helpful. I dislike when the salary field requires a specific number, and won't allow one to enter negotiable, or a salary range. It is a little infuriating that the movement to force workers back in the office is simply about control. Especially when it's proven productivity has increased when people are allowed to work remotely.
Thanks for this video. I just finished my resume a few days ago. I listed my lab work and projects under Practical Experience and listed relevant bullet points and I kept the resume to one page. I listed the certifications at the end (security+, google security certification, soc core skills by antisyphon).
Depends if you have some skills and experience to show off then I will say put it on the bottom. If you have limited to no experience put it on top as a trophy to show off.
@@CyberHAC100k thank you.. what do you think about projects? My work experience highlights the translatable soft skills but I don’t have IT specific work experience. Currently i have “personal experience” (blog, tryhackme, non-IT security research, community involvement), then “professional experience” which highlights translatable soft skills, then “project experience” which covers my homelab and another cybersecurity project. I’m curious if you think thats a good way to present it for a person coming from another job field, or if you have any suggestions about a better way/order to present the non-work cybersecurity experience. I’ve done plenty of hands-on labs and projects
Excellent video. I made a comment previously regarding contacting you. I'm so overwhelmed by these exact things right now and having problems landing a job in the UK. I believe having a short meeting with you will help me so much. Please let me know how can I contact you?
Great resume tips.
Good video. I agree the 100% remote jobs even in Cyber Security are getting way more difficult.

Hybrid is also being pushed because there are many people out there with 2 or 3 full time tech jobs. Hybrid curbs that activity

Glad to hear it. Work with the format and see how much traction you get if all else fails switch it up and send out more.
I have to get on writing my resume... Its been years since I've had one or even looked at it. Thank you for this video!
I do my best to visit it every 6 month even if I’m not looking
@@CyberHAC100kGood Advice. Once I write a new one I will try to keep it up to date.
Hope you’re doing well!
Do you think that certifications and education should be at the top or bottom of resume? I hear mixed advice
