First! lol yeah I almost got duped into applying to some of these types of positions where you are say 75% service desk work, 10% network, 15% "Security" work but the job title says Security Analyst. I do want a federal job but yeah not the FBI.
In case anyone is confused, this job posting is to be a Special Agent it’s not a traditional cybersecurity role. At most they would try to put you on cyber crime cases based on your degree and prior work experience. But essentially you’d be going through the FBI Academy to be a federal cop to arrest people Lol. That’s why it has the 50 hour work week listed. Those agents work long hours. This wouldn’t be the role for somebody if they didn’t wanna be in law enforcement. Hope that helps.
Thanks for the video. I talked to recruiters for all the 3 letter agencies when I was leaving the military a long time ago. I didn't have the 4 year degree and wasn't getting good vibes from any of them. I don't want to be a government worker in any capacity.
