I love this rendition and the green sweater version the same. I heard him sing this at CBB 12/2022 and even though he sngs it every year, I had goosebumps and tears throughout . This version is totally different from the green sweater version. This arrangement matches the venue perfectly. The atmosphere created by the candles was mirrored in the ethereal use of the strings. This version almost makes me think of what the angels were singing that wintery night!

Was able to attend my first of David’s Christmas Barn Bash the day after Thanksgiving 2022. Yep he’s the best on earth and hearing and seeing his show in the humble setting of his farm is pretty satisfying to say the least.

i love David's singing, but I like the first version better. This one felt like a rock concert. David's heart was there but I also saw a lot of performers cluttering up the scene with noise. There was a holy hush and sense of awe about the first one that this version has in the beginning but loses.
