Vaping saved my life. I quit smoking 6 years ago! Flavors has been a big part of that as I vape dessert flavors and Im 46yo! I feel just like a non smoker and I no longer smell like tobacco.

I've shared it with all our stop smoking team, and more widely with other partners. This will be a great asset to their work. We're a stop smoking service, not a stop nicotine service, and we are keen to give people who want to stop smoking all the best advice we can offer

i just started (4 days ago) and cut my smoking down like 99%. i only smoke maybe 3 a day now. 1 in the morning (you know why) and maybe 1 after lunch and before bed. And its cheaper!!!!. In fact i cant even believe i used to smoke cigs. When i see people smoking i want to tell them about vaping because i feel sorry for them and want to help them. I know ill be completely off cigs soon. Thank God.

Prior to vaping, I was very hesitant that I might just get back to smoking cigar once I tried vaping. but. It's now my 4th day of vaping. I usually consume at least 1 pack a day, but currently the last time I smoked a cigar was yesterday and it's just one stick, then I can't even finish it because it tastes really bad lol... quite a drastic change for me in just a short span of time, now I can taste food better and get more hours of sleep unlike when I was still smoking cigar.

Great video, great interviewer only just another subject, that still has a too subjective way of going about his things.. I would love to see the same format over and over with other users (personalities), there opinions and there devices.. It is very important this happens! Some people just can`t relate to eachother based on nationality alone, and or preferences..
    Anyway vaping saved my life!!

E cigs explode when u put them in youre pocket and don’t turn the safety feature on, the button gets held down and heated to the point of explosion. Always use the safety feature when not using ur vape

TY for this, it should help smokers through the steps that might need to be taken before finding the set-up that works best for them. I do have a bit of constructive criticism that I hope will be addressed in future video's (you might already have, I haven't looked yet). The nicotine mg levels of 12 is actually 1.2, not a real 12. Vapers, reviewers, everyone just always said 12, which is easier to say than 1.2. However, now that the Big Tobacco companies are selling their renditions which have a true 5.0 nic mg level, it gets really confusing for the new newbies of today. The 5.0 is great for getting through the long work day in between breaks, but other than that, it's just too much nic for regular consumption, imo, and is more likely to addict the users which goes against the ideals of the eCig's creation. In summary, your video is very helpful, but could use a conscience effort to reestablish the proper lingo so that newbies don't think the 5mg is lower than the 1.2/(vocalized as a 12), or the 0.6/(vocalized as a 6). The Big Tobacco ones like Juul and a few others literally are a 5 (not a 0.5). TY for listening.

Hey buddy I've moved from Rollie's to vaping now I've been using elf bar disposables and they are perfect but I wanted more vapour. I bought the innokin endura t18 II but I find its making my throat sore. And I'm really not getting much flavour. I've primed etc how you are supposed to but I just can't get it right. Any advice. Am I using the wrong liquid?

Now I don't need any flavoured candies as I'm vaping mint gum 3mg nic e-juice...

Useful summary. I just think its funny that the lovely smooth Dr McRobbie seems to be pretending in the room with the hairy Sam when i think he is nodding to camera in the studio. So now Sam is no closer to dropping his nicotine addiction. This has been circulated to GPs amongst others but I am unsure how much we need to know about non-prescribable options for addiction. Can't people be asked to inform themselves? I cant be an expert on risks or benefits of every single diet plan. How is this different?

    • @NCSCTfilms

Sam and Hayden were actually in the same room ;-) I guess putting the responsibility solely onto individuals is one approach to public health, but not everyone is equal in terms of the personal resources needed to make informed choices about their health. This film aims to address some of the misperceptions of e-cigarettes that have been reported in the press and are held by the public - you can just make these films available to your patients and then they can make their own informed choice. I think it's also worth remembering that 'nicotine addiction' (or indeed recreational nicotine use) isn't our focus, it's stopping people smoking as that is where the harm lies. Thanks for circulating the film!

For me it was very empowering to spend time working it out and switching to vaping completely. I guess the only thing I would say is that in the rush to subohm devices many older smokers whose lungs have been damaged are looking at them and thinking nah, that's not for me. And others simply can't cope with the higher wattage devices. Mtl devices are not sexy like cloud making devices but they are cheaper and easier on the lungs too.

I'm 70yrs old and have been smoking White Ox roll yer own for decades and converted to vaping when the cost of smoking went through the roof. $9for a 25gram pouch up to $39 has become ridiculous and a neighbour suggested vaping. I took to it like a duck to water. I think going from rollies to the mod/tank is easier because smoking rollies involves a ritual from pouch to lung and so does smoking through a tank/mod arrangement.Smokers don't like change especially old farts like me however I've always been ready to embrace change especially when the change saved me lots of money. I play guitar and the money I saved by kicking the habit has gone towards purchasing three new guitars and that can't be beat.

Great video. I do feel that for many people, there is no reason to necessarily move on to larger sub-ohm box type devices. More emphasis and information should be made about the two very separate and distinct styles of vaping: Mouth-To-Lung (MTL) and Direct Lung (DL). THESE 2 STYLES OF VAPING ARE INCREDIBLY DIFFERENT. There are some incredible new devices being introduced recently that produce a vaping experience nearly identical to smoking analog cigarettes, which is the same as MTL vaping (examples being the eLeaf iCare line, the Aspire Breeze, Vaporesso Aurora, Sourin Drop, many others). The larger 'mod' type sub-ohm devices almost always require you to DL vape. Turns out, I simply HATED the DL style of vaping. I wasted much money on being (mis)directed into sub-ohming and never enjoyed the experience, and thus fell back into smoking analogs a few times. I was never able to finally kick the analog cigarette habit 100% until I discovered these so-called "beginner," "starter,' or "intermediate" devices like the ones I listed, which are a FRACTION of the cost of a larger box-type mod, and also consumes a vastly SMALLER amount of vape liquid when compared to a sub-ohm tank. I feel vape shops/forums/reviewers are doing a disservice to customers trying to push sub-ohm devises to uninformed people that simple want to break the cigarette habit. I believe the reason is because these larger devices are much more expensive thus more profitable, and also they are able to sell you 3 or 4 times more e-juice due to the much higher consumption rate.

100% Accurate! I'm going on 4 years of vaping, and my go to tank is still my Aspire by Nautilus, which is a MTL device. I do use a few sub-ohm devices from time to time, but I still enjoy MTL the most! Thank you for your valuable input. Vape on!

    • @umarae27
      @umarae27 4 роки тому

Good point! The sub-ohming is more for those who have already switched over to vaping and have reduced their nicotine levels from the 1.2 mg and want to go lower still. The sub-ohm style provides the fullness of vapor to compensate for the lower nic mg levels. Most sub-ohmer's prefer 0.3mg and even the 0-mg strength. It's a necessary step, but only for the advanced users. More learning curves with it too! Resistance, Ohms law, Watts, and so on down the road.

This was the most educative video I’ve seen so far with straight answers about the issue.
You certainly answer all my questions about it and I made my mind about switching once and for all.
I’ve been smoking for about 10 years now, and I’ve tried other vapes that are not rechargeable, they were recyclables, but I just bought the voopoo drag x pnp-x which I think it is a good choice for starters due to being a good product for non technical vapers that have a lot of different parts that require a lot of customization.
So last but not least is thank you for this video, it really helped me.

Been stopped smoking now for 8 months because of taking up vaping. At 6 months I tried a cigarette. It tasted so disgusting I couldn't even finish smoking it and went back to my strawberry lemonade vape. Soooooo much nicer. I've been making my own eliquid after the first 2 weeks which saves so much money. Now I'm just starting to make my own coils too. It's a bit of a learning curve but it's a great hobby.
Good luck to everyone getting off those disgusting cigarettes

  • @arranmc182

My advice is have one MTL (mouth to lung) setup with higher MG of nic and one DTL (direct to lung) with lower MG of nic that way when you don't want to be throwing clouds you can switch to something with less vapour, MTL = less vapour & DTL = more vapour, trust me don't sub-ohm DTL above 6MG nic when your new to vaping as the throat hit can be super intense and put some people off
