Wasn’t necessarily going to watched this because I can’t be bothered about anything the Kardashians do, BUT. I’m so grateful for your inclusion of contour/bronzer/sculpting lessons. Love to you girl, thanks for always being our approachable color theory queen ❤️
@@jacksonlevy5464 hiya, no she did "bedroom eyes browns" (her 'you only need one eyeshadow' video) but not the lighter/more beige "bedroom bambi eyes" one. She mentioned wanting to do the "bambi eyes" video end of 2023.
@karaz8280 I thought she described bedroom Bambi eyes as taupes? I was hoping for the cool toned versions. Sigh, oh well. I hope she makes the Bambi eyes one soon either way. I love her face swatch videos!
This was such a great and timely video of the placement of product. I have definitely gotten sloppier with my application lately and I also have been doing more and more Zoom meetings where it’s nice to have a bit more definition to my face. And I also appreciate the reminder for filling in the gaps when there is a difference in contrast. Somehow (it’s the ADHD) some of those tips fall out of my head and it’s good to get them explained and demonstrated periodically!
I got the lipstick in Nude 1 the day they released them because my toxic trait is believing that I'm one purchase away from my ultimate concealer lips shade (I peaked in 2011), it's actually a lot better than I expected!
Many things to tell you. First, you look beautiful and the painting behind you is amazing! I like your reviews and your comments. Thank you for sharing! 😊
Just think of all the bad energy you just cut off via your hair Aries season is almost here Let’s get the hair growing All good vibes Plus, you’re always a babe ❤
I am curious about the kim palette but also know that even if it was really good, I wouldn't buy it because I don't want my dollars going to anything Kardashian related, but I know others aren't as staunchly opposed. I have a Viseart matte neutrals palette so I'll just shop my stash instead (whew!) I appreciate the convo about color theory either way. I always find that to be one of the most interesting thing about makeup. P.S. How does your makeup wear by the end of the day using the balm as a primer? I'm curious about it but I need my face of makeup to last me through a 9-5 gig so I figure I'd ask. Also would you use it in the PM just for some extra nourishment? Trying to think about if it's something I could use in my routine or not. Thanks Kackie!
When you put the initial swipe of lipstick on, I thought "oh no! too warm" but then I immediately flipped to "Hey, that's actually a really nice color! Thanks for the bronzing and contour lesson. I am one of those viewers who is really leery of both, especially contour. So, I am going to "practice" a very light application and see if I can get over my fear. Thanks! I love all your videos. I re-watch quite a few of them too.
KACKIE! Its Trey, the guy who asked you about Ritual De Fille. I can teach you how to do the jaw! If you are looking to sculpt it and define it, take a golden toned bronzer/highlighter UNDERNEATH your jawline. You can choose to go up to your ears if you wish. If you want to make the jawline pop, you can take a white/silver toned highlighter and place it directly on thr jawbone. You can also choose to contour your neck but thats a bit tricky and much. You can also indirectly accentuate the jaw by placing a bit of contour underneath thr jaw socket and highlight the temple socket itself! This is where being a man is useful lol
Love this video!! Best explanation ever.. and I've seen a lot... Thank you for not drawing/painting your jaw & neck grey & orange!! Ugh, the lines that get drawn on & not blended.. 😬 so beautiful & natural Kackie!!😍❤️💋👑
I know it is said generally that a lot of Kackie’s makeup looks are the same. But what just really struck me is that she is using different brands, different products, different types of products, different colors, different textures every time and still getting to a look that is very quintessentially Kackie. There is something sort of remarkable in that! 💜
Great video! As always!!! Regarding contour and bronzer. Count me old fashioned but I prefer the bronzing technique done the “old way”. On a perimeter of the whole face. Kinda drawing 3 on a face. When I put the bronzer above the contour on cheeks, on a nose and forehead, the lower part of my face looks bare. Especially after adding a blush to the mix. It’s like all the colors are above the demarcation line from ear to nose 😂
Thank you for explaining my brain 🎨 🖌️ 🧠. The contour/bronze use and placement is one , I know on my own face so well, that I don’t remember how to explain it to someone else. So thank you for the clear articulation of my brain 🧠. Ps. “It had one ☝️ job “is the black best explanation for Kim‘s make up that I’ve ever heard.❤
Thanks for talking about Relative Temperature! Comments of every contour release: "shadows are supposed to be GRAY". Shadows on walls are gray. Shadows on human skin aren't. Beige or taupe or green or even a terracotta (!) depending on the human underneath. Cool toned *relative* to the skin, which can still be quite warm. Nina Ubhi has a video on it, she's based in Middle East so she contours on a lot of warm undertones. IDC about this makeup launch but enjoyed the video.
This is a fantastic video. I wanted to share something that I found amusing. I was at a friend’s house and we were watching a UA-cam video and I saw this video as a suggestion and I was like “I recognize her. That’s Kackie!” 😊
Now if I could find a version of all these colors for cool olive skin... I wouldn't buy anything from a Kardashian brand anyway but these would all look so orange on me 😂
The palette is FIRE!!! I LOVED KKW beauty when it was thing, that SKKN by Kim palette is better than those where. And it’s not that much more. The original one was $45 so I wasn’t mad at the price on those. The lip products are fine but the new formulas don’t justify the new price tag in my opinion
the kim palette looks like a useful tool (especially since the formula sounds great) but the packaging just looks like it would feel super cheap and that along with the price…… idkkkkkk
Same! Also I have the Viseart Neutral Mattes palette and while the shades aren't all the same I want to say two thirds of that palette has some overlap with this one so I don't feel like I need both, and I'll stick with what I've got.
I also studied fine art and definitely get the colour theory. Just a goth at heart so hate warm tones. I have paler and cooler skin than you and still haven’t found a cream bronzer but the mob powder bronzer is the cats whiskers. I’m from uk if you haven’t heart that phrase.
Only halfway through the video and I just wanna say I appreciate how thorough and informative you are. I’m not even a contour girl but it makes so much sense to give a contour tutorial in a video discussing Kim kardashian’s makeup. So thoughtful and well researched. As always. 💕
I'm interested in the eye shadow palette. I see it looked cool and your camera showed it to be very warm. Could you tell me which it is? Can you help me find your video for it? Thank you.
Hi.. i know this is bit irrelevant.. i had seen a video u made on quitting lexapro and suffering from land sickness feeling.. could u plz share how many days/weeks/months u had that feeling.. i m going thru it and dont see a light at the end of the tunnel.. plz help
I saw your IG on your haircut and I FELT that. I'm just so hesitant to let other people touch my hair anymore. And it takes so long to grow out their F-up. Sigh
Great advice as always, thanks, Kackie, but... Contouring the temples is an easy way to look older &/or more tired. Especially when combined with contoured cheeks, the overall picture is not one of health & vitality: think gaunt & unwell, not 'snatched'.

As someone with the chubby cheeks of a toddler... I quite like looking a bit more gaunt, makes me look my age :')
