How to Play GTA Online on PS3 In 2023 (GTA:OG)

- Today i will be showing you how to play GTA Online on PS3 in 2023 using GTA:OG Custom Servers in under 5 minutes!
This is relativity easy to do. Requires you to have a CFW, HEN or DEX enabled PS3 and a PC. Make sure to join the discord server to download the files required in order to do this.
I will be uploading a 360 tutorial soon, just had issues with my 360 when filming this video.

hey I have big problems: 1st problem gta thinks I still at prologue but as you see on photo I have some progress (I completed frankin and lamar)
2nd problem: online first race is bugged, after complete race game getting softlock I can't do anything game just not react.
Problems are on rpcs3 too I even tested BCES version and still same so wtf is going on?
I want to add I not had problem with 3ta even early 3ta versions
Edit: installer by ImVirusMike fixed first problem but second still not fixed even on 4.90
everything fine i just did it at first i had a problem it just stuck because i uploaded the wrong file insted of blus hahah but for now im playing online thank you bro

Bro I tried a lot of different ways... but GTA:OG doesn't work for me.
I can only connect once, but after that, if I turn the console off and on again I can't connect anymore and the Rockstar error appears...

Is the Bawsaq working and are the special haircuts back on story mode?
It works well but when it asks me for display calibration like adjusting the brightness when I customize it it freezes gta 5 but not my ps3

they closed the ps3 servers so the ps5 players can play on them

trying to platinum the game here , made quite a lot of progress in story mode , the eboot.bin dosnt affect the same files right ?
yes i pirated my copy of gta V and once i logged in on psn they synced my trophies to my psn account , it probably didnt suspect a thing cuz mmcm loads the game as a disc@@ISHAKRZ01

Cmon it’s easier to mod a ps3 than an xbox 360 because it’s all softmod. Just follow the youtube tutorials very carefully

Do you want to play 7th gen games at better frame rates, graphics, cheaper games in the used market but at the cost of paying monthly for online? Buy a 360 (stick to slim or e model).
Do you want free online, some rough ports but incredible 1st party exclusives? PS3 is for you (stick to slim or top loader PS3)

Hello nice video. I wanted to ask a question, I logged in to the online mode and both while I open the game and every now and then a message comes up with the gta screen telling me from October 12th Fight against name spoofing and it tells me changer displayed username . How do I change my name?

By any change did you spoof your name? If you have not, than I believe you can ignore that message.

Imagine GTA Online was downgraded on the PS4 or Xbox One versions just to transfer your character from PS3/Xbox 360 to PS4/Xbox One that’ll be cool if the same developers that developed 3TA Online did a hella of a good job to bring back day 1 GTA Online with that cool software

sir welp i got another problem the gta og did not accpeting my invite even my 4.90 hen update which in ps3 is not working i went to see in via storege and look but not update but i still restart my usb and do again but not work so do i have to take new usb drive and do again ?

Try it on another USB stick in that case.

It does, but wouldn't recommend using it. They have been banning folks doing so
Yes and you won’t get banned unless you use it for malicious intent such as boot, ddos, kick, ban, freeze, change display name, edit people’s money/ rank etc.
UPDATE: GTA OG has been shutdown and is no longer playable 😞

If you're on HEN or CFW, try opening the multiman application on the PS3's XMB. When it opens it should be on the bottom left of the screen called PS3 IP I believe

Update wise, I recommend spoofing your firmware for psn. If you update it on the console using Sony's servers, it will disable HEN.
