Hi there….I just wanted to drop a message on here for you. I love your artwork….your style and your use of colours are so beautiful and aesthetically appealing to me. I use a lot of different medias to make my art…..acrylic paint, oil paint and oil pastels, clay, wood etc….but I’d not really worked with soft pastels until about 2-3 months ago. I’d played around a bit with them but never attempted a full painting with them. I’m almost 49 and my problem has always been my OCD and ADHD (yes I have ALL the acronyms 😂)….the OCD in particular, tries to stop me from letting go, even when I REALLY want to! (There’s loose painters, and tight painters, and then there’s me! 😆) Your channel has helped A LOT with that, thank you!! I think it’s your energy, it’s very calming 😂 So far, I’ve taken inspiration from two of your pastel paintings, and adapted them to my style…..and actually finished them both! If I tell myself, no one is ever going to see it, I can trick myself into letting go a bit hehe! I don’t have instagram, I don’t use FB and I rarely go on twitter. But if I ever post my pastel paintings which were inspired by you…..I will make sure that I give you all the credit. Keep doing what you’re doing, you never know who you might be helping, with their mental health! I work in the Criminal Psychology field, but when it’s your own mental health, sometimes you need someone, to give you a little boost.
