      Mine is my 3 kids. One teenager I don't want to start and two small kids I need to be more active with them and smoking takes a lot of time out of my day cause before I had kids that's how I filled my time. That's still a challenge cause I want to use smoking as a way to escape the chaos of family life with smoking and use that as a way to keep the kids away. I have no friends and I hate most people cause they are stupid so I don't have anyway to really give myself space with a smoking.

      I struggle everyday cause my wife is a heavy smokers like I was and I can't get her to quit too. So I find this big distance between my wife and I. She is supportive of my stopping but she spends all her time not working sitting outside smoking and I want to smoke when I'm outside with her. Any thoughts? Maybe a video topic?

      @@danielkinney1845 great idea and others will benefit as well. In the meantime, I recommend watching the very inspiring story of our member Mike who quit smoking happily even though his wife wasn't ready to quit yet. He explains perfectly how to have an empowering mindset and a great relationship ua-cam.com/video/QdRvk3byO-o/v-deo.html

    Thank you! I quit smoking after 45 years using your method. I was in the hospital for an pneumonia for 12 days and told I had COPD. Once I heard the nicotine was only 20% of the addiction I went off the patches while I was there. I did the work on the 4 stages while in the hospital. That was Dec 16 2022. Since I used your program it was not difficult this time around one I got home. I was one of those people who said "I can't quit, don't want to quit, I enjoy it so much". Truth is it was a burden and it feels so good to not want it any more. I hope it stays as doable as it is now. I am keeping motivated by watching your videos and remembering cravings are positive thoughts that cause positive feelings about smoking....like you teach. It works. Instead I think of the emotional reasons why I quit and how it would continue to damage my lungs, shorten my life, and take my money. I think about the black smoke I am inhaling and how each cigarette sets us up to want another in an hour or less. I smoked 1.5 to 2 packs a day. I'm still amazed this is working! Thank you Nasia!

    I am trying to prepare myself to quit smoking. I’m going to watch all these videos. I hope I can get the motivation to quit for good. This is by far the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. I wish I never started. I wish I knew what I know now, back then. It is completely emotional! AND that’s why it’s so hard to quit!

  • @edgill953

    Thank you so much for this video. I have been smoking almost 50 yrs. and have quit four times and relapsed. Every time I quit, I lasted 4 days and lit up on the 5th day. I began studying quitting smoking by getting every book from the library and buying books from the bookstore. Out of all the information I gathered, the one thing that stuck with me was the fact that nicotine leaves the body in about 4 days and I learned that my problem is psychological dependence on smoking, which was just confirmed in your video. That is the hard nut to crack for me, but your personality and presentation has given me lots to think about and I feel encouraged to think about quitting again. You and your videos may be the only support I need to finally do it. I have always believed that cold turkey is the best way for me to do it and I never believed in all the aids available to prolong the nicotine habit. I know the psychological aspect is the most difficult for me and I am glad I came across your videos tonight.

    What if we don't find the emotional reason to quit? I'm at 60+ days off of it, but i guess i went on for the logical reasons. I had no cravings that were utterly unbearable (10 years of smoke, heavier in the latter 5 months), but the lack of emotional reasons appear to be whats haunting me to taking it up again, which i've been thinking about more lately...

    • @CBQMethod
      @CBQMethod  Рік тому +1

      Hypnosis is insufficient when it comes to quitting smoking because it does not train the mind. Also, we can't change what we're not aware of and hypnosis does not make us aware of our craving thoughts, emotional triggers and patterns. It doesn't hurt though.

      Well, nobody said the pack finishing is a reason equal to health, etc. It's more of an "opportunity" or boost in motivation. Perhaps you can watch the video again. In any case, no need to get upset, take from the video whatever is beneficial to you.
